Customers say
Customers appreciate the prenatal supplement’s natural ingredients, particularly its use of folate instead of folic acid, and find it to be of excellent quality. The supplement is easy to swallow, with one customer noting it can be taken with juice or water, and many consider it the best choice for MTHFR pregnancies. While some customers report it doesn’t upset their stomach and has no aftertaste, others experience nausea and a bad taste. The pill size receives mixed feedback, with some appreciating its normal size while others find it too large to swallow comfortably.

Clean and Healthy Ingredients
Mamaâ¯Bird Prenatalâ¯Multi+ has been my daily nonânegotiable ever since our fertility and OBâGyn team okayed it for our IVF prep. One capsule with breakfastâalongside their Prenatalâ¯DHAâand I can check off methylfolate (no synthetic folic acid), a hefty 100â¯mg of choline, gentle iron, and a full Bâcomplex in forms my body actually absorbs. Even on injection evenings, they go down smoothly and havenât stirred up any nausea or weird aftertaste. What really sells me is the ingredient roster: no artificial colors, fillers, or ânatural flavorâ surprises, plus itâs glutenâ and soyâfree. My latest bloodwork finally showed healthy folate and B12 levels, and Iâve felt a steadier energy curve instead of the midâafternoon crash I got with my old prenatal.Gripes? Price firstâabout forty dollars for a monthâs supply, and thatâs before adding the DHA. It also comes in a fairly bulky plastic bottle; sturdy for travel, sure, but Iâd love a glass option or refill pouch to cut waste (and maybe shave a few bucks). Lastly, because each bottle lasts only 30 days, remembering to reorder on time feels like another IVF chore.Overall, though, the clean formula and doctor approval make the splurge worthwhile. If youâre chasing peace of mind and topâtier ingredients for a future little one, Mamaâ¯Bird is an easy pickâjust be ready to budget for it.

Great and highly recommended!
I am very happy with this prenatal. I love that it has methyl B vitamins and folate rather than folic acid since I probably have the MTHR gene and our bodies canât properly process folic acid any way. I had a very good healthy diet while pregnant but I still took these to help balance it all out. After I had the baby I stopped taking them for about 4 months and started to feel really terrible and my severe chronic migraines came back. Big mistake! Once I started taking them again I started feeling a LOT better. I donât think Iâll ever stop taking them now.And bonus which may not have anything to do with the vitamins, but my baby is very healthy, was born at the top of all percentiles and is advanced in his physical and cognitive development milestones. The cons are that they are expensive, and they smell pretty bad. I keep them in a 7day med dispenser and sometimes my husband and I will think a cat has peed in our room but when we sniff it out itâs always coming from the pills! This didnât cause any problems for me when I was pregnant and had super sensitive nose or nausea though, surprisingly! And they donât TASTE the way they smell. But then again, Iâm swallowing them quickly so Iâve never had them in my mouth long enough to taste them!Highly recommend them with the One Fish, Two Fish DHA capsules (but definitely take THOSE with food or youâll be burping up fishy taste blegh)

Pregnancy after Gastric Bypass
I had Gastric Bypass surgery in November 2023 and found out I was pregnant in February 2025. These are the ONLY vitamins that have everything I need after bypass surgery AND as a prenatal. They also don’t upset my stomach, even a little bit. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Easy to take prenatal
I am 8 months pregnant and am using MamaBird Prenatal. The MamaBird Prenatal has been very easy for me to take. I love that this prenatal only requires me to take one pill a day. It is even a smaller pill than my prior prenatal and that one required me to take two pills.  I like that it includes probiotics and enzymes.  It has not caused me any stomach upset even when I do not take with food. I do not have MTHFR but always try to take methylated forms of vitamins and I am pleased with the makeup of this vitamin.  I also always look for third party testing on my supplements and this product meets that requirement.  I have felt good during the time that I have been taking and would recommend it to a friend.

Helped me grow a healthy, happy, smart baby girl!
I took this product for the majority of my pregnancy. I researched and researched and researched to try in find THE BEST VITAMIN ON THE PLANET! So, from my experience, this is that product. Here is a list of pros and cons:Pros:1. Easy to take2. Natural energy feeling3. It helped me poop4. It never made me throw up5. Soothed my stomachCons1. Kind of expensiveAlong with this vitamin, I switched between Nordic Naturals Prenatal DHA and Garden of Life Ultra Pure Prenatal EPA/DHA. I also adhered to a diet/lifestyle that excluded gluten, artificial colors and sweeteners, deli meats, alcohol, nicotine, illicit drugs and prescription medications. I did have to take 10-20 mg of fluoxetine during the last 3 months of my pregnancy d/t extreme anxiety/fear. I would recommend anyone to talk to their doctor if experiencing any of the same issues…it was super beneficial to me and ultimately for my sweet baby girl. I hope this is a helpful review and you get the same results that we did!!

Works great but has an odor and subtle taste
I recently started taking this prenatal after my OBGYN recommended I switch from my previous one due to it being slighlty high on the Vitamin D3 side. For the record, I’d been taking a prenatal since before I was pregnant and once the preggo test turned positive and my doc saw my Vitamin D3 levels she preferred I lowered them a little. What I like about this Mama Bird prenatal (note: This is NOT the AM/PM) is that compared to my previous vitamin, this one only needs to be taken once a day. Also, I did LOTS of research to find a balanced prenatal that had iron, calcium, biotin, appropriate Vitamin D levels and other key ingredients and this one really seemed to have the best balance of ingredients I was looking for PLUS was natural. My main con, and the reason I deducted one star is because unlike my previous prenatal which I loved (Garden of Life Vitamin Raw Code), is because this vitamin does have a vitaminy smell and slight taste. The odor in the bottle is very evident and while the flavor of it is totally fine and very subtle it is there vs my Garden of Life which had barely any odor or taste whatsoever.Nonetheless, I will continue to use this prenatal given the natural, key ingredients. Granted, it doesn’t have DHA but I am happy to take a separate supplement for that — which I do…the One Fish Two Fish Prenatal DHA by this same Best Nest line.
