AMAZING ATTACHMENT HELP WITH MY CATâs HAIR
It was an amazing product help me to clean and collect my catâs hair! Itâs can connect to my Dyson V8 easily and have some functions which Dysonâs pet attachment can provide. BUT IT MUCH CHEAPER! This clever device attaches seamlessly to my Dyson V8, transforming it into an incredibly efficient grooming tool that not only detangles and smooths my catâs fur but also vacuums the shed hair simultaneously. The attachment is easy to set up and fits securely onto the vacuum, ensuring no loss of suction or detachments mid-groom. Using it is as straightforward as grooming with a traditional brush – I just need to turn on the vacuum, and I can comb through my catâs fur. The bristles are gentle yet effective, removing loose hair and undercoat without causing any discomfort to my cat.

Non stop shedding
With a German shepherd/husky hybrid I came to find out my dog is also part pug. (How? I don’t know) Pugs however shed non stop all year round. We tried several style of grooming brushes.Though this is not an automatic do all tool, it is a big quality of life tool and it works. As an owner of 2 Dyson vacuums I have a Dyson animal ball upright corded vacuum and a Cordless V11 animal. Yep animal models for our furry friend.Using the Portek Pet shedding brush I was able to plug it in to either vaccum as it does come with an attachment adapter for my V11 as the tube itself looks like with was originally made for the old upright vacuums by Dyson. The tube though it may look cheap it feels tougher than it looks. The handle itself was problem, there was no lock on it it was just a standard hole plug and play style attachment. I used some black electrical tape keep it in place as it does tend to slide off while in use.Now as for the quality of life, the brush does work as intended with a locking mechanism for storage. The brush takes a lot of fur off the dog and at the flick of a switch down the tube it goes to fill the capacity of your vacuum. All you have to do is empty your Dyson and go at again if needed.4 stars because the attachment does not stay on the tube. Otherwise great product. Would get again if there’s a lock on the next version.

Excellent!!!!
My husband absolutely HATES it when I brush the dogs outside and just let the fur fly. We had a husky, with a very thick northern coat. Our new husky/shepherd mix pup likes to eat the hair as I try to brush her. This attachment is great it provides a gentle suction while you brush preventing fur ball fly aways. Yes, I would definitely recommend it. Cons- the brush part could have slightly longer teeth or different interchangeable brushes for different coat lengths. The brush handle itself is not ergonomic it’s awkward. The whole thing could be slightly smaller and shaped better to a human palm. The retract button is also awkwardly placed. If the engineers want a better product, I’ll let you come visit while I use it or take it to different groomers. My Kira wanted to be on my lap while brushing her, so the tool did not have much room between us. Jake eventually laid down so it was much easier to use. Different dogs will react differently so ease of use will be different for each situation.

Better than expected
I am so impressed. 2 German Shepherds with incredible undercoats. This little attachment is awesome. They both get groomed every 8 weeks. Now I donât have to do the every 4 weeks brush out. This is going to save me a fortune.Do they like it. Absolutely not. But once started, about 30 seconds in. No fear just total really mom. But they tolerated it fine.

Didnât work as well as Iâd hoped.
Maybe I need a newer Dyson but my dogs fur never did get suctioned in, I had to hand remove it and put in the hoes. That being said I donât have a dog with cotton-like fur or an undercoat and I think this would do okay for a pet that had that type of coat.

Great way to brush your pet
Love using this on my Dyson. My Frenchie shed alot being a white coat. She seems to enjoy being brushed by it and doesnt startle her. The brissles capture the hard as intended and maneuvering the lever to suck the hair off the brissles works great. Easy to use. Great value. And very easy to clean

Brush works well. Wish it had a longer hose
This undercoat brush works very well on the coat of my yellow lab. The trigger function to release the hair from the comb also works great and the hair gets sucked right up into the canister of my V8 Dyson. I only wish it came with a longer hose; if you’re brushing a large dog the one provided is not adequate for easily maneuvering around the dog while leading the vacuum in place. In the long time, I might instead just see if I can take the excellent undercoat brush attachment and affix it to an adapter that will connecto to my shop vac instead of the Dyson. My dog shed’s so much that the small V8 cannister needs emptying multiple times per brushing.
