Great wood chips for chicken coop
I really like these wood chips for my chicken coop. They smell great and the chickens donât kick them around or make nearly the mess they do with hay or other bedding materials.The only downside is the packagingâthey come really tightly packed and take a bit of time to break apart and spread out. That said, I havenât found a base I like better, so the extra effort is worth it for how well they work in the coop.

Perfect for Chicks!
By far the best shedding! Yeaaa it comes in a wierd wrap but it is so good and dust free for your chicks! And itâs safe edible as well. I used a different shedding and it was a bit dusty more in the stronger smell side and I had 2 chicks have nasal congestion but this shedding nothing they are perfect! I highly recommend.

Chickens like it!
I really appreciate the packaging. It keeps it so you can save space if you donât have to use it all at once. I am using it just in nesting boxes(2) right now and while I fluffed up one of the 3 vacuum sealed pieces I didnât need most of that so it should last me for a bit. Also, because you have to fluff it helps you to go through the shavings carefully and grab any pieces that might not be soft enough or too long (there were not many) My chickens already laid eggs on it and seem to enjoy it. I would purchase again.

The actual product is great, but no place to store it after you cut open the vacuum pack.
There is nothing wrong with the shaving themselves, but they are provided in a vacuum packed bag the size of a sheet of paper. When you but the bag there is a lot of material. Where do you store it??? I personally did not have an available container to put this in when I opened it. You need that to actually break it apart. It would be good if they included in the vacuum pack a large self sealing transparent bag that you could pull out of the packaging and then put all the material inside. This would allow you to use it as needed and store the rest.

Nice product, but not much of it
This is a nice lightweight product, but there isn’t very much of it. I intended to use it in my hen’s nesting boxes, but I can buy a bigger amount from a farm store. This product was softer and fluffier than the bulk stuff, but it just didn’t go far enough. It is probably better for a hamster cage.
