Finally, a decent light for my nano cube planted tank.
This is the first light with a 24/7 mode that got it right (that I’ve tried, anyway). For example, the Hygger will start off with a reddish sunrise mode, white daylight, and end with gradually fading white light and replace it with blue for the “moonlight” mode. This isn’t how actual daylight fades work; but thankfully, Seaoura understands perfectly that you have to end with a sunSET (red) before you get to the pale blue twilight. Is this essential for an aquarium ecosystem? Not really, but it’s a nice aestetic that I suppose most aquarists can appreciate.I’ve had this Seaoura light on my little planted cube for about one week now and it’s done wonders for the plants. It replaced a Lomine that was there for 6 weeks, supposedly had 10 watts and just wasn’t cutting it — the bacopas, saggitaria, and dwarf hairgrass were barely hanging on but not growing. In one week, the bacopas are about an inch taller already and the sag have been sending out runners. Love how the clean lighting also makes my flame endlers pop.The programming is easy on this model and doesn’t require you to link it to a phone to start. Which is nice because it cuts down on the amount of apps overall and frees up the phone. Hey, maybe that shows my cantankerous oldie vibe, but this trend of downloading an app to your phone to simply turn on a light is ridiculous. I’m looking at you, Brite.This Seaoura light has it all — reasonable pricing, intuitive operation, and good looks for a more modern style. It’s bright enough for medium-light plants to thrive. This brand is likely going to be my next purcase for larger aquariums in my future plans.

Great light for use with smart plug
Great light, I personally don’t want or need a built in timer, or 24hour sunrise/sunset feature. The thing this light gets right is if you just set it to the brightness setting you want, with no timer, it remembers its settings so it works perfectly with a smart plug, as a simple on off without resetting to a default mode.The light itself is bright enough to grow any plants in my 6 gallon nano cube, with CO2

One of my all time favorite aquarium lights. It works perfectly for a 10g and 5.5g aquarium. Itâs super adjustable and easy to clean from dust. I like how you are able to adjust the hight of the light for cleaning the aquarium. Super easy to set up and the timer has yet to fail me. High quality build and I love how the light dims once itâs time to shut off

Nice light
This has been a great little light and my aquatic plants grow well with it. It is sturdy and has a good spectrum so it’s good for both the plants and the fish look good. I do wish that it could swivel up out of the way for when I am cleaning in my tank and that the controller was a little more responsive. But otherwise it does what I need it to do and looks good doing it.

Bang For Buck. 20 Long Biotope
Awesome! I only have one right now for my 20 long, but it would definitely be sufficient. With one, it makes a calm, almost dim atmosphere. Very customizable! I am using the 24/7 mode, because is want to see my Kuhli Loaches.Altogether, 10/10Price for product 10/10Quality is also amazing.Definitely recommend.(It does get a little hot on the top, but it is not too hot. The Manuel also says not to worry about it.)

What a great full spectrum Light!
I’m the type of person who dives deep into product research, often to the point of frustration. When my previous aquarium’s full spectrum light stopped working, I spent considerable time searching for a suitable replacement. Seaoura kept appearing in my findings, a brand I hadn’t encountered before. Taking a chance, I placed my order, and it arrived surprisingly fast. I must say, this light is impressive! It’s sturdy and well-made. While I’m unsure how it would work on a rimmed tank, it fits my rimless setup perfectlyâsecurely without risking any scratches on the glass when installed correctly. It looks great and is positioned high enough to support the indoor plants in my aquarium. The inline remote is user-friendly, making it a fantastic value for the price.

Good Full Spectrum Light, with Timer and Dimmability!
I needed a light with a timer for my daughter’s five gallon tank, and I wanted one that gave dimmable light and also didn’t stick out too much from the back of her rimless tank, so the lid could still be secured on it. We bought one light that was okay, but it wasn’t dimmable, it had no timer, and would not work with a smart plug to set a timer through our Alexa app.Yes, I could have just bought a Christmas Tree timer and been done with it, but after seeing the SEAOURA and noting that it had not only a timer but a 24/7 setup to simulate natural light, I was sold. The price was good for a light of that ability, and she likes that it gives a natural glow to her tank. So far, her African Dwarf Frogs have not complained, but I’ll be honest, they have crap eyesight and are a little dumb, so I take their opinions with a grain of salt anyway.So far, this appears to be one of the better clip on LEDs I’ve found for a smaller tank such as hers. Kudos!

Light just arrived so Iâll do a first day review. May come back and update if the light doesnât work as it should.On first glance, the light is kind of bulky, not going to lie. As a light made for tanks that are of smaller size, I didnât expect such a huge bracket. Bracket does work well and holds as it should. Light is easy to put into different positions as well. The installed the bracket backwards to avoid having all the bulk on the inside of my tank since I am building a custom lid.I have this light installed on a 5g Topfin Shrimp and Plant Oasis, for size comparison.So far, the controls are easy to navigate. I will probably use the timer, as Iâm not sure I want 12hours of light in my aquarium. Will update once I find a sweet spot for my plants.Overall, I have purchased 5 lights from two other comparable brands, and this one is the highest wattage for a small clip on light. I wish there was an option to set different times like my Nicrew light but it is much more customizable than the comparative low watt Hygger I am replacing this with.For the low price, I think this is the best nano light you can buy without spending $100.

The light is very bright, with several options: Sunrise/Sunset (brightness not adjustable), Different colors and Brightness levels, Timer setting with gradually increase/decrease brightness. The programming is a little tricky. In case of power failure, you need to set the time. The mounting can be adjusted up/down and left /right. Very good overall.

I give this light 4 stars. If there was one thing I would change is to make it have an actual clock timer in it and then pick your modes of 10 hours or the 24/7 mode. For the 24/7 mode you can adjust time and it will cycle off thatand if power goes out very easy to set that mode up again. For the 10 hour mode though if you want that setting you have to wait till it that time in the actual day and then start the 10 hour cycle. I personally use 10 hour cycle on my tanks and if there is a power outage I will have to manually have to wait till its whatever time in the day I want to start the 10 hour mode and set it then. I have lights on other aquariums where the time is separate from the mode. Other than that it works and plants are thriving. I also like the stand attachment for it and its adjustability. Excellent height option and ability to move it and adjust sideways for the ability to grow external plants.
