What to do if the APP can’t find the light when connecting the light with the TUYA APP for the first time?
When using the TUYA APP to connect the light for the first time, if the light cannot be found, it may be because the permission of the “Nearby Devices” is not turned on.After clicking “Add Device”, Please allow “Nearby Devices” permission and then reset the light (plug and unplug the light three times) to see if the TUYA APP can find the light.
After plugging and unplugging the power supply for 3 times, it may take a few seconds for the light to flicker or not flicker, but by this time the light can be found by TUYA APP.

Smart light: fully customized for color and brightness. Excellent light for African cichlid
Very happy with this light. I use it on my 150gallon 6ft tank housing Malawi peacock cichlid. Really bright light. Fully light up my 6ft tank even though the light only 4ft long. The fish color especially red and blue is really popping with this light. Fully customized on color and brightness. The app is easy to use. I like to mess around with color and brightness every time I turn the light on. The fish are vibrant and active. 6 stars!

Easy to use, affordable and effective
After numerous lights this is by far my favorite. The app is user friendly, very effective for growing plants. Used on a 75 gallon heavily plants tank. In comparison to other lights this one is the most affordable and best quality. Once itâs programmed on the app, you never have to touch it again. My only change would be that the color tone can not be changed in the 24 hour setting only the brightness.

It’s a good budget light that does what I need it to do
Iâve been using this light for about a year and a half now, and overall, itâs been great. Itâs currently set up on my 90-gallon planted aquarium. While it gets the job done, Iâm planning to order a second one to get better coverage from front to back.The app isnât as tricky as some reviews make it sound, but I do have one minor complaint. When using the 24-hour timer, Iâm stuck with the pre-set lighting scenes: Fishlight, Moonlight, Sunlight, and Ocean Blue. I canât fully customize the lighting in this mode, which is a bummer. For example, the Sunlight setting is a little too yellow for me, and the Fishlight setting is too orange.The timer splits the day into eight blocks of time. For my setup, I use one block for an 8-hour photo period (1:00 PM to 9:00 PM) on the Sunlight scene at 70% brightness. Itâs not perfect, but it works. Outside the timer mode, I have full control over the RGB lighting, brightness (0â100%), and color temperature (3000Kâ6700K), which is awesome! The downside is that Iâd have to turn the light on and off manually, so Iâve settled for the Sunlight scene in the 24-hour timer for now.The Sunrise/Sunset feature is really neat. It gradually brightens to mimic sunrise and then dims down to Moonlight in the evening. You can adjust how long the sunrise/sunset and Moonlight phases last, but I prefer keeping âfull sunâ all day for better plant growth.There are also two custom scenes where I can set my own RGB, brightness, and color temperature, which is fantasticâexcept I canât use them with the timer. Thatâs a bit disappointing since it would make things so much easier.Overall, I’m pleased with what this light does for the price, but I would like to see more user control in future updates.

Hygger aquarium light
Just received this light last night and tried connecting it to the Tuya app as directed to access all the functions as described. I spent close to an hour and a half and have been unable to get the app to add the device to the app. I will try again today and see what happens. The light is bright and appears to be of good quality for the price point. Hopefully I can get the app to work. The app keeps saying to turn on the Bluetooth on my phone which it is on, but it won’t discover the light. I will update this review after I try to trouble shoot the issue.

Not worth it!!
Unfortunately this list went dim on me 6 months later, nice light but doesnât work for the expected time.The app is horrible I have only been able to connect to my lights one time.You canât set a timer for if you are out of town or not home, you canât turn the lights on unless your home with the app connected thru Bluetooth

Holy crap. What a difference a light can make. It’s vibrant, it’s simple, it’s the best money I’ve spent on an aquarium light ever. If you’re unsure if about buying this light, don’t be… it’s seriously the best light I’ve owned.

Great light
It doesn’t come with a remote as depicted on the picture. However you can use your cell phone.It’s complicated. If being used as an aquarium light, the levels have to be turned down or it will grow algae!
