Nice and big.Cuts easily,i needed to make it smaller.I have it in a beardies tank.Cleans easy so far.Its soft on one side,little firmer on other.I put the firm side up both it looks like it would work well either way.

Just what I needed
Absolutely love it. I use this for our bearded dragon enclosure and I was able to cut it to size and have plenty of extra for other things in the enclosure. It’s easy to keep clean and it looks great. I don’t have to worry about getting sand in her food anymore. Great price.

The item has to be flattened out first and that took some time. I actually slept on it overnight. Once strait,it is the best substrate I could find for my 2 yr old Chinese water dragon. He absolutely loves it

Do NOT buy! Item came shrink wrapped and folded into a small square. The “high tech” fibers are basically felt. I was worried about our beardie getting her nails caught or shredding the fibers. Wished I checked the review befoe hand.

Don’t use for turtle basking areas
Didn’t do what I hoped it would so I gave it a neutral rating. It is fluffy on one side and smooth (flat) on the other. I can’t say whether or not it’ll be ok for lizards and such but not good for basking areas for turtles. I put a piece in water to see how it would do and there are a lot of fibers that came off. I don’t plan to have it submerged but a wet turtle coming in and out of the tank might pick some of it up on its feet and bring it to the tank. I would have the not fluffy part up but still wasn’t gonna risk it. I’ll use it for crafts as fake grass.
