A Home for Spiders That Aren’t Made of Plastic (But Still Appreciate Quality Housing)
My journey into arachnid ownership began with what I can only describe as an impulse purchase that transformed my living space into something resembling a miniature zoo exhibit. I had acquired several jumping spiders through circumstances that seemed logical at the time but now require more explanation than most social situations allow. When these tiny predators needed appropriate housing, I discovered that spider real estate is surprisingly complicated, requiring careful consideration of ventilation, security, and the kind of visibility that allows for both spider observation and spider privacy. This acrylic jumping spider enclosure arrived looking like someone had taken terrarium design seriously instead of treating it as an afterthought in the vast universe of pet accessories. The clear acrylic construction provided the kind of transparency that allows for proper spider monitoring without the distortion that typically accompanies cheaper plastic alternatives. The magnetic lock mechanism suggested this was designed for people who understand that jumping spiders possess both intelligence and athletic ability that can be directed toward escape attempts. I examined the ventilation holes with the attention of someone who had learned important lessons about adequate airflow from previous pet housing mistakes. The assembly process proved straightforward enough that even someone with my limited construction skills could create a functional spider habitat without requiring emergency assistance from more mechanically inclined neighbors. The magnetic lock engaged securely without the wrestling match that characterizes poorly designed enclosure hardware, while the ventilation system provided adequate air circulation without creating the kind of drafts that might disturb sensitive arachnid comfort preferences. The included tweezers indicated this was a complete system designed by people who actually keep spiders rather than people who simply manufacture generic pet containers. My spiders, despite being composed of standard biological materials rather than acrylic, adapted immediately to their new transparent accommodations. The clear walls allowed for excellent observation of their daily activities, which consist primarily of hunting, web construction, and what appears to be careful surveillance of their human caretaker. The magnetic lock has successfully contained even my most ambitious escape artist, while the ventilation system maintains the kind of air quality that keeps everyone healthy and comfortable. The tweezers proved essential for food delivery and occasional habitat maintenance without disturbing the delicate ecosystem each spider has created within their personal space. After several months of use, this acrylic enclosure continues to function exactly as intended while providing the kind of professional presentation that makes spider ownership appear more sophisticated than it actually is. The clear construction showcases the natural behaviors of jumping spiders in a way that transforms ordinary pet keeping into something approaching educational entertainment. The magnetic lock remains secure, the ventilation system continues to provide adequate airflow, and the overall design has proven durable enough to withstand the daily demands of active arachnid residents. This enclosure succeeds at creating the perfect environment for jumping spiders regardless of their material composition, proving that quality housing works for all species of eight-legged tenants.

Great bug container, not so much for a jumping spider
This is a product that I have love but not for the way it was advertised. Since I was a child I have loved bugs and loved collecting, observing, and releasing bugs. This terrarium is fantastic for observing bugs like ladybugs, caterpillars, beetles, etc. It’s easy to put bugs in and release bugs due to the way the top opens and closes. However if you’re wanting it for a jumping spider I’d look for other products that don’t have a door on the top that open. Jumping spiders jump up so if you’re doing anything with this terrarium you have a chance of your spider getting out. I have another one of these that is super similar BUT it has a side door and space at the top for your spider, which is the way this SHOULD have been designed IF marketed as a jumping spider enclosure. It CAN work for a jumping spider, sure but it would be better with a side door! This comes with covers on the plastic (both sides) you should pull off, the plastic should be clear, easy to see through, once these are removed. You get tweezers to do this with but I didn’t use them, I just grabbed and edge and pulled! This has absolutely no building instructions. However, it’s super easy to build (see below if you need instructions). There are clear rubber bands to put around each inserted plastic piece (see first picture) to keep everything tight and held together well. The box looks nice once complete and works perfect as a bug collection container. It is SO much better than other products that are sold at high dollar prices that are tiny and a joke if you truly want to collect bugs. I think these are some of the nicest containers depending on what you want to use them for!To assemble1) Look for three rectangle pieces that have multiple holes all along one side (those holes will be at the top of your container)2) Look for 2 pieces (out of the three that have holes along the top) that have a circle towards the top corner. Those two pieces are going to be your side pieces. Your top/roof piece is going to attach into those top holes.3) place the piece that has multiple holes (but no circles toward the edge) on a flat surface and then put the other two pieces that DO have circles (toward the edge of each side) on either side of the first piece. Do it in a manner like your building a box. The circles of those pieces should be closest to the flat surface (vertical of course) See photo 4 for an ideas of how this is going to work!4) while holding the side pieces, place the lid, the square piece (with mostly smooth sides) with pieces on the back that stick out ever so slightly) into the holes5) place the bottom piece (square with two tabs on each side) in place6) place the remaining rectangle piece over the bottom piece (there should be a little magnet at the top) and line the tabs up with the insertion holes.7) place one clear “rubber band’ around EACH tab that sticks out8) take the remaining piece, a little magnetic tab piece, and insert it into the top of the lid so that the magnet that is flush with the plastic is closest to the the magnetic circle on the rectangular piece9) secure the tab with a clear “rubber band” to hold it in placeVOLA! You have built a terrarium!

Its definitely wood and acrylic.
All reviews under this product aren’t for the 33 gallon tank. everything looks good but no pre drilled holes for the legs so make sure you don’t put them in bad spots. Also the instructions could be clearer.
