Would recommend to take this to shows over your valuable Andis
This was a good quality cheap clippers. I decided to buy it prior to buying an Andis clippers. Because I would be using it once a year to shave a senior horse that wasn’t going to live very long. I came to the conclusion that what would kill the Andis would be sitting in my barn not being used. Well, I would still recommend andis for anyone who plans to show groom regularly. This is excellent for horses that need occasional trims or to pack in your show box for quick touch-ups.I would not recommend it for body clipping. A full size horse. It however works quite well to body clip. My class a miniature horse after I had shorn him with my sheep shears.

Fell apart while grooming my Great Pyrenees I did groom my miniature poodle first and burned him, so decided Pyrenees was only one I could use it on an as I was going from his tummy to his tail they broke. The part that holds blade in worthless. I should have taken picture but through away

Dog grooming clippers
These work great on areas that need to be clipped down short. They are decent clippers for what you pay however these are not a great set if you have a large dog that needs groomed regularly.The blade that comes with the set is for a very short cut, what I call the naked chicken cut, and while it includes guards I generally find those to be a hassle.I have two large dogs; one who needs just a trim and her feet done. For her these clippers are great. The other dog is a labradoodle and the clippers do not work well. The guards constantly tangle in his curls and I find that I spend more time detangling then I do grooming.

Sharp tool
Blade is like a 10 blade will need to use guards on the precious smaller puppies with thin coat, no undercoat. Most likely would be perfect for larger animals and who have extra under coat. I like the tool very much but I would prefer to have a 7 blade and not have to use a guard. Guards are good for blending long hair, no much pudding when cleaning up long hair all in one swoop, in my opinion. These will be useful but I will be looking for a 7 blade in the near future.

First time…cut with ease with these!
My first time using clippers to cut my parents dog hair. It was his first time being groomed, his coat was really matted & with that all against us, he came out with no cuts or nicks. He looks now like a completely different dog! Clippers were easy to use, ran smoothly & were very powerful. They are not too loud. Battery lasted the whole time & still had a lot of battery life left. I fully charged it to 100% & after the session that lasted about 2hrs, it had 82% of battery life. I would recommend this product to others with fur babies.
