These hay bags hold maybe 3 flakes of hay 4 if their small. They close using 2 tie strings toward each end. Looks like a pillow when filled. Took the horses about 20 mins to get them open. Would work great in the trailer but did work for what I needed.

Has very small holes, a little bigger than an inch. Perfect for fine hay and alfalfa hay. Am using it inside an upright feeder and can clip it onto the metal bars with carabiners. Really perfect for this application
