Great turtle food
Fantastic value. Saves money in the long run. My two red eared sliders, eat it with no problem. One container lasts us about a year. And they are happy and healthy. It does have a strong odor but as long as you donât keep it stored open, it doesnât continue.

You got flies?
My daughterâs turtle seems to like this food enough. However, these little gnat like flies kept appearing in the aquarium and my daughterâs room but nowhere else in my house and I kept wondering where are these flies coming from!?!? I didnât figure it out until I stuck the whole container of food in the freezer for a day. Iâm not super duper positive that the bugs were actually eggs in the food pellets, but so far I havenât seen any of those flies since I pulled it out of the freezer. Hopefully that actually did the trick and Iâve solved my tiny fly problem

The Single Best Nutritional Blend for Aquatic Turtles
I’m not an expert. Aquatic turtles can be picky. Of all the stick-type foods that one can feed to an aquatic turtle, this is the one most preferred by the turtles. Of course, the turtles would prefer fresh salmon, swordfish, and tuna, but those don’t supply the huge amounts of calcium they need in their diet. This does. My oldest turtle has been fed a diet of this for 34 years. He seems healthy and still enjoys the product.

My (rescue) turtle has eaten ReptoMin since she I rescued her when she was the size of a toonie back in 1998. She sometimes catches live larvae, minnows, insects and the occasional frog from spring to fall when she is outside in her small pond, in an escape-proof 30′ x 90′ enclosure. As she is older now, she prefers vegetation which grows in and around her pond. I supplement with a small handful of ReptoMin every 3 weeks. She is a healthy girl, even at 25 years of age, so proper feeding has contributed to that.
