All birds and no squirrels
Great product! Woodpeckers especially love it and the squirrels leave it alone. I do get more birds for the other cylinder I bought from Amazon (Flockin Bugs Nuts & Berries) BUT the squirrels absolutely tore that one to shreds in like a week. This one they actually leave alone, and I get to see woodpeckers, chickadees, and goldfinches over and over again without having to buy a new $20+ cylinder every week. Highly recommend!

Keeps the pesky squirrels off of the bird feed
Dang these worked. I have been going through bird feed so rapidly because of all the squirrels in my yard. They finish off a small cylinder of bird feed in 2 days. The birds barely get to them. I have done research and found out that squirrels would stay away from hot pepper ones. I was a little hesitant since I was worried about damaging the little birds with the spicy stuff.But birds seem to love this. Especially the little birds like Wrens and sparrows. I haven’t seen a single squirrel near the feeders. The cylinder itself is large and lasts longer than the regular non spicy ones. Had it on monthly subscription

Mold issue with last order
My birds love these cylinders. Squirrels hate them. So they are the perfect solution for getting my birds fed, without having to constantly chase squirrels. Iâve purchased these on multiple occasions without any issues. I normally purchase these 6 pack option. This last purchase they arrived & I put out a cylinder of seeds, with no issues. When the birds finished that cylinder & I went to put out the second cylinder, the next four cylinders I opened had a white fluffy mold that had formed on them. Only the 6th cylinder was clean. I had to throw the 4 out that had mold because mold is toxic to birds. Disappointed in the mold on theses cylinders, but my birds do love these cylinders

Very good but then a glitch
This was great for a while. No squirrels no mice no rats. Well all of a sudden after a couple months appears a small rat and was eating it like crazy. Even came back later to eat more. Couldn’t believe it. I applied flaming squirrel seed sauce to the seed and it did no good, it still came over and was eating it.So my review is mixed. Worked so very well for so long until this little critter who came out from under a neighbor’s fence and messed everything up! My cat liked to look out the side door and see the birds but I guess no more.

These are good but fragile and can crumble.
Iâve bought these several times. They are good because squirrels wonât touch them. On the down side on two occasions the solid cake has become broken and crumbled . You cannot use on a spike as they are intended.

I really love this product!.. I first saw this in a little store in a mountain town while I was traveling. The birds love it but the squirrels hate it and wonât destroy it like most ones. Itâs a great product and lasts a long time because the seeds are very compact.. you wonât be sorry when you buy this!ð
