Easy to setup
This is easy to set up and works great controlling a whole house fan at night. The one thing I liked is you have control over the on off hysteresis so the fan will not cycle it will reach the desired temperature and just turn off.

Maintain temperature at my preferred set points
This unit works as advised. I have it set to monitor the temperature in my tent and when the temperature drops below my set point the heater comes on. Once the temperature is above the set point the heater is automatically shut off. Works like a charm. The sensor appears to be accurate as I have compared the temperature to a calibrated hygrometer. No complaints.

Great for turning on a fan
Been using it to turn a fan on grain bin to dry corn. Works excellent. I would highly recommend if it outside put a water proof box. Mine is acting up of late, I think water got in where the rc connector is. I had is covered but some high winds blew the cover off and then it rained. It’s called farming. It’s going to happen it’s just a matter of time in farming when something breaks.

SENSTREE Temperature and Humidity Controller Outlet Plug-in Thermostat Humidistat is the most important part of climate control in my grow tent, With the use of other components it has allowed me to dial in temperature and humidity 24 hours a day.Step 1: plug in and run setup where you can easily work through the settings (once set, you can move it later) set the high and low temperature a few degrees apart (example: 72 low temp / 75 high temp) it will automatically change to cooling mode. Then set the humidity well out of range (example: 40 low / 75 high) the reason for this , my humidifier won’t automatically turn back on without intervention. also set the alarm ranges well out of the operating parameters – you only need the alarm if the humidifier goes dry or the heat lamp or exaust fan quit working. Follow the included instructions, which are clear but not really easy because you have to do the complete setup using only a “set” button and up and down arrows.Step 2: Plug the speed-controlled exhaust fan in the temperature plug and a humidistat-controlled humidifier (set at 55%) in the humidity plug in the controller.Step 3: To maintain temperature control overnight (lights off âNo heat from lights) I am using a brood light (heat lamp) fixture and a 100-watt ceramic heat lamp – which is left on 24/7 The size required of the lamp would depend on the size of the tent. And also a small clip-on fan to keep everything circulating and stable.How it works: The control is achieved through temperature, which is controlled by the exhaust fan, when the temperature reaches 75 degrees the exhaust fan turns on and when the temperature drops to 72 degrees the fan turns off. You can control the rate of cooling by the use of a variable speed exhaust fan but also consider that speed of the fan is also controlling the high temperature (at 75 degrees you donât want the temperature to continue to rise) Humidity is controlled by the Humidifier but the SENSTREE controller monitors the humidity (shown on the display) and also warns you if the humidifier goes dry or stops working, There is no spike in humidity as the temperature drops because the excess humidity is exhausted as well.As a result the temperature is always (24/7) between 72 and 75 degrees ( average 74) and the humidity ranges between 49% and 55 % ( average 53%)I recommend this product.

IT DOESN’T WORK!
Right out of the box, display worked. That’s a plus. Probe seems to read temp relatively accurately. But, could not program. Would not go into setup mode. Tried everything, including disconnecting completely and reconnecting everything. Still would not go into setup mode. cannot recommend this product.

Set high alarm higher but not too high
I use this to cool my chest freezer as its internal thermostat is dead.I have it turn on at -1°f and off at -6°f. The problem is when we put in things that are warmer, like frozen chicken thighs from Costco that has sat in the cooler for the 2-hr drive home on ice where the temps can get upwards of +10°f by the time we get home.Putting it in the freezer raises the temps above the High temp alarm side and it starts beeping.I wish there was a way to disable the audiable alarm otherwise set the alarm just below freezing in Fahrenheit.

Incorrect Labelling on Product
This outlet is feature-rich in terms of programmability, although it took some tinkering with to understand all the settings and get the program to save. I lost a few rounds of setup edits because I didnât hold the set button after programming all of the items to get it to store. I was quite confused why it kept going back to the default settings until I figured that out. I did find that holding the up/down buttons on the model I received does increment/decrement setting values without you having to push the buttons again and again. That seems like an improvement compared to what I expected from other reviews. The temperature probe appears to be reasonably accurate, so that was another plus. My biggest pet peeve though is that the switched outlets are labeled incorrectly. When the unit is âheatingâ I have electricity available at the plug labeled âcoolingâ and vice versa. Good thing I tested it out on my countertop before using it as intended to find that out.

Perfect for keeping temperature in my portable greenhouse within a certain range.
Works great! Weâre in north texas so the winter temperatures can fluctuate between 10° – 80°. I needed a way to turn the heat on without me having to check it multiple times a day. We tried other things to keep the temperature in my greenhouse between a certain range, and this item finally did what we needed. Itâs plugged into a small space heater and turns it on when the temp drops, and off when it gets warm. Highly recommend.

Je mâen sert pour contrôler la température de fermentation du vin, avec ce thermomètre je peux facilement contrôler la température sans crainte, il suffit de placer une bonne ceinture chauffant autour de votre Uwinemaker ou de votre tourie et de la brancher à votre thermostat (thermomètre électrique) ajuster à la température requise pour votre produit soit du vin, bière où autre, la température sera maintenue avec précision. Je recommande ce contrôleur de température jâen suis très satisfait.
