Perfect for a Praying Mantis!
Easy to assemble and perfect size for a Praying mantis! I looked at all the medium enclosures on amazon and this was the best that met the most of my requirements, including cross ventilation air holes. Next to it is the ReptiZoo 4x4x8 for comparison. Looks great and functions exactly as needed. The big door makes it easy to decorate post-assembly or get in for feedings or cleaning the cage. I glued in some non-metal mesh to the detachable lid for my mantis to hang from. You’ll need to keep the fabric and glue layer thin so the lid can still lock into place at the top.The air holes could let some smaller feeder bugs through, but you could fix this by gluing a fine mesh if it bothered you. I mostly feed house flies so it won’t be an issue. but fruit flies could definitely get out.Overall definitely worth the money!If i could suggest one thing to make it even better, it would be the addition of a feeding hole (for quick access without having to open the whole door/lid)

Easy to set up and very sturdy! My only issue is how big the air holes are. Thatâs really easy to fix with some tulle and super glue though so definitely worth the cost!

Ventilation holes are too big,not suitable for jumping spiders!!!
Not only did my enclosure come cracked in multiple places, but the ventilation holes advertised to be a safe place to house my jumping spider were so big he got out. I lost my beloved pet, 21.00 for the cost of the enclosure, and the cost of my jumper which was 50.00. All in all, I took a 71.00 hit, for a product the company clearly knew wasnât suitable for my pet. Here is the response I received when I made them aware of what had happened. If you notate, they admit they are aware and they are selling a faulty product, and have stated they are planning to sell off the rest of that product line, with the new updated models coming in December. They have changed the design knowing the ventilation holes were far too large. The remaining enclosures should be pulled from production. I keep venomous slings as well, what if I had decided to house one of them in there that day, rather than a harmless jumper ? It would be out and I would have something to be seriously concerned about. I need to edit this to add, while it did come cracked in multiple places and damaged, that is not where he escaped. He slipped through the huge vent holes. They took no accountability, they should have immediately refunded my money, no questions asked. I shouldnât have been expected to return it and use my personal gas to drive it 30 miles to the nearest UPS for a cracked, faulty product, that they knew wasnât suitable for what they advertised. The only acceptable solution would have been an immediate refund and apology. Please donât put your beloved babies in here, I donât want to see this happen to someone else. The last pic is the only memory I have of my beautiful boy.

Love the size. I like that you can use the whole enclosure as one or turn it into a two tier. So far it’s held up well. When it first arrived I was confused as to why it was so cloudy and realized it had a film on it. It was easy to put togethet and my jumping spider seems to like it.

Perfect for kids
This has been perfect for my daughter who wanted to have pet snails when it rains. It was easy and quick to put together. The door has a tight feel and itâs easy to see into the box. For the price I would highly recommend.

Cute but worrie anything you put inside might escape
I love it itâs cute for my spiders. But the parts to keep it together were not all useable but I made it work. The door opens very easily and I had to make my own way of keeping door shut

I just put this together and I’m thankful there was a video. It wasn’t complicated but there are a lot of parts and pieces. I use this as a single insect dwelling and my tarantula seems to be happy so far. I think it’s a good size and would recommend

It’s an awesome small size. Exactly what I was looking for. It’s very easy to put together. Make sure you remove both sides of film before you put the pieces together.
