This cat post is perfect. It’s very sturdy and surprisingly very stable. My cat is quite big and he loves to stretch on this every time he wakes up from a deep nap. The size of the post is also a good fit for his size. First he runs to greet me and then runs to the post to stretch. Every time. And the post holds his weight and keeps steady. In addition, I’m sure my furniture is grateful, as am I, because this post gets all the scratching.As for packaging, when I saw the size of the carton box I was very skeptical regarding final size and durability but I was proven wrong, and assembling was easy.

Sturdy tower!
Great tower. Very sturdy, and doesnât tip with a wild kitty. Little assembly, easy to do. Careful when you are assembling as the base folds and can pinch before you get the bolt and main piece on. Other than that, my spooky cat loves it!

Cat ignored it for four months, but now he loves it!
I bought this for Jax, who loves scratching the sisal posts on his cat trees. But the sisal on them has worn down, and my attempts at replacing it weren’t as good as the original. So I thought, I’ll buy him a new scratching post and he’ll love it!Spoiler: he did not love it. He ignored it completely. For four months!But then, a couple of weeks ago, he decided it was a great scratching post! Now he comes into my bedroom and, before his morning petting and brushing, he’ll use the scratching post for a short while. And then again at night, when I go up to my bedroom, he’ll follow and use the scratching post again.Anyway, it’s a good size for him to get a stretch in, and light enough that I can move it into the corner when vacuuming. Will he keep liking it a month from now? Who knows! Cats are fickle. But it’s a solid scratching post for any cat, when they’re in the mood at least.

Excellent packaging
Itâs taller than I expected. Itâs also safe to say I didnât actually look at the measurements! My cats love it. Two of them are pretty nonchalant about it but my old girl sheâs 12, is obsessed with it. I havenât seen here so playful in years. Itâs very sturdy too. No wobbly pieces. It was also quite easy to assemble. I would buy it again.

Great product / missing screw
Works great and great price, but mine was missing a essential bottom screw (hence 3 stars, and not 5). I got a replacement from the hardware, so thankfully I didn’t need to return it.

This is a pretty large sturdy cat post. I have 3 active cats….they all LOVE this tree.I’ve had two of them at the same time on the pole itself (18lbs) and wresting on it…no tipping at all. This thing is just awesome. Great bang for buck.Also, carpet doesn’t shed…I appreciate that I don’t need to clean that up too.
