Looks great
My kids are always asking to keep the toads and turtles they find outside playing and while we always return to where we find them, we wanted to build a little habitat for visiting friends. This hideout rock is a great addition. It’s large size allows the toads to hide and feel safer and it looks natural. Recommend for lizards to bask as well.

Very Nice Large Hide For Ball Python
Large hide that looks nice and is well made. There are sharp points throughout inside and out, but don’t let that discourage you. I used my coarsest nail file and smoothed it down all over until I was satisfied that I could run my hand over it without my skin catching. A piece of sandpaper or a foam sanding block would work perfectly. After it was sanded, I washed with a bit of dish soap and hot water. Then it went into my ball python enclosure on the “hot and humid side”.My snake is 1.5 years old and over 24″. Fits with plenty of room to spare. It looks like it can fit two of him in there at the moment. The top of the hide is nice and low so even though the hide is big at the moment, he still feels secure inside. He also comes out to bask on top. He loves it and that’s the most important thing.

Color not accurate, but otherwise excellent!
As described, aside from color. Wasnât a big deal to me, as it was included in the backdrop of the terrarium and therefore covered with silicone and coco fiber. Otherwise very high quality! Good size and No sharp edges, so safe for my snake.

My Box Turtle Loves it
I recently got the Reptile Simulation Rock Cave Hideout for my turtle, and it’s been a fantastic addition to his habitat! He absolutely loves hiding in it. New paint, who dis?
Mold is as pictured, however the paint job looks less like a rock and more like petrified gecko hide. It will serve its purpose, but anticipate a different finish in case you need to paint it.

Great Size and Looks Natural!
My ball python Akoni is very pleased with his new hides! I ordered one for the cold side and one for the warm side, and he uses both regularly. The size is great for an adult male ball python and it looks very natural as well 🙂
Shops Too Much –
Good hide for smaller reptiles.
This is a good hide. The size isn’t as large as I hoped it would be. My adult sized ball python (about 4.5ft) can stuff himself in there. I use it to cover the entrance to his underground hide. Not too heavy material but it is sturdy. If used as a hide only I’d say a smaller snake or lizard would fit more comfortable.

It’s full of little sharp edges and corners, you could very easily cut yourself from picking it up from the wrong angle. I did not trust to put this in my enclosure and *not* have it injure my snake. I had to sand it down completely to make it safe. So while it looks nice, it shouldn’t have been sent off in the state it was in the first place.
