Customers say
Customers find the freeze-dried shrimp to be of good quality, particularly suitable for turtles and hedgehogs, and consider it good value for money. The size receives mixed feedback – while some find it nicely sized for small turtles, others say it’s too large for babies and juveniles. The taste is positive, with customers describing it as tasty for turtles, and the smell also divides opinions between those who find it not terrible and those who report a horrible smell. The shrimp’s durability is a concern, as customers report they break easily and come with lots of broken pieces.

Great Treat for Reptiles!
Flukerâs Freeze-Dried Crickets have been a hit with my pet gecko! The crickets are high-quality, with no unpleasant smell, and my gecko loves them. Theyâre easy to use and store, making them a convenient alternative to live feed. I also appreciate that theyâre rich in protein and nutrients, which is great for my petâs health. My only gripe is that they can be a bit crumbly, so some crickets break apart in the jar. Still, this is a fantastic product for reptile owners who want a hassle-free feeding solution. Definitely worth trying out!

These aren’t shrimp :/
Didn’t buy these for turtles, but rather as a treat for my isopods. Unfortunately didn’t get entirely what was advertised.Pros:- They were freeze dried as advertised.- Bottle was filled to the top.- Good enough for isopods to eat (didn’t kill them and they ate them)Cons:- Not entirely river shrimp. Like half the bottle is minnows for some reason?? I – I don’t think that’s supposed to happen?? The bottle says only river shrimp and the nutrition label is for river shrimp, but like 50% of the bottle is minnows?- VERY SMELLY!! I live in a small dorm room and by just opening the bottle the room smelled like fish for a week. I’m usually fine with fish smells and don’t even notice fish smells usually ‘cus I grew up on a fish hatchery but this smell is very noticable. I can smell it even with the bottle closed. I ended up having to put in in a bunch of zip lock bags just so I couldn’t smell it from a foot away. I’ve tried other brands of freeze dried shrimp before and they smell no where as bad as this. I’d argue that most catfish bait smells better than these things.Overall:- Good enough for isopods as it works as a source of dried protein, but wouldn’t reccomend for pickier creatures as it wasn’t just shrimp- Do not buy if you are semi sensitive to smellsI’m rating this at 3 star instead of a 1 or 2 as I’m assuming this was just a bad batch

My Bearded Dragon loves them!

Mr & Mrs. Valad –
Turtle loves these little guys. He got so excited one day he almost took my finger off. Typically cheaper in store, however my closest store is 45 min away so it was much more consented to have it delivered through Amazon for the extra 2 bucks.

I picked these up for our bearded dragon, Bandit. It can be tricky getting live crickets all the time as they don’t travel well, and our local pet shop often sells out. These are a perfect stop gap! He really loves them. Even our fussy little crested gecko has taken to them.

I was getting worried that our girl wasn’t eating much. We tried many different things and other than some veggies, she was ignoring all of our attempts. I put a few of these crickets in front of her and boy! Did she love them! She ate a loooot of them. Whew! Glad to have found a source of protein she likes! Thank you!
