We have had a change after 3 days
EDIT: I suspect that our horse is metabolically inclined but nit Cushings. Still waiting for the test results.But the other day (after about 6 days on this product) our big guy actually RAN up the slope and gave a buck for joy as he ran!This poor horse had been dragging around, utterly exhausted and famished.I suspect his metabolism was messed up when someone else fed him for 2 years while I went through heavy duty cancer treatment and basic recovery. I know the horses 3 of them) had to wait 18 hours between dinner and breakfast the next day, when massive amounts of hay was thrown at them. Only my big guy went metabolic, but all three looked like horrifying blimps when I start tending them once again.It is really too soon to see huge results yet, but the horse likes the taste and licks the bucket, searching for any leftover bits.After 3 days on this our horse was no longer utterly famished and cruelly hungry for food when it is meal time.This seems to have a helpful effect on blood sugar. Thatâs what we are experiencing from the horseâs behaviour now.Yeah, itâs spendy, and my big guy needs two scoops, not one, as he is over 1100 lbs. I just ordered my 2nd bag and am a believer in this stuff after the results that this particular horse is getting.We are awaiting the Cushings and insulin resistance blood work results. Expensive but Seeing Some Difference
I got this for my 15 yr old that has been leaning towards metabolic issues. I haven’t had him tested, but he puts on weight just looking at food and has been getting a cresty neck no matter how much he gets cut back on food. I’ve been trying a variety of different supplements on him to no avail and decided to give this a shot.I like the fact that it has very simple ingredients and doesn’t read like some chemical science experiment. I have had no issues with getting him to eat this, but then again he’s not at all picky.While he’s only been on it about 10 days he is oddly enough calmer. He’d developed a habit of pacing like crazy before the evening feeding (and only in the evening) and that is slowing down and on some evenings has even stopped. It will be interesting to see what other changes happen with him.My only complaint with this is the cost. It feels very expensive for something I would have to keep my horse on monthly. I do however appreciate the fact it is on Amazon so ease of ordering and prime shipping is helpful.

Noticeable difference within the first week of using it…
Formula 707 MetaStable Pellets seems to be working good on my mare. I’m using it on my draft. She has been on this supplement for a week, per the request of her veterinarian. So far, there’s a noteable difference in her energy level. It seems to be much better. There seems to be some improvement in her lamanitis so I will keep feeding it to her. A little over a week ago, her mobility was a bit more restricted.I mix a scoop in her feed every night and she seems to be eating it very well. It’s palatable and it doesn’t havd a strong smell to it, at all. That makes it easy to give her. 707 products are always made of quality and the results from using their products are always quick and noticeable. This product is a bit on the costly side but it’s worth the money. Any product that is as effective as this one is always worth the money.

Good ingredients for metabolic health
Formula 707 is a great brand and every product of theirs that I’ve tried has been effective. It’s a tough time of year (October) for me to judge how much it’s helping my IR mare. Seems like with her, every year is different. We’ve been super dry here so grass is already stressed, adding in cold temps at night is making things worse. She’s doing well, though, and she readily eats the MetaStable Pellets. They’re convenient to dispense, though a little pricey for my budget.

Palatable for a picky eater.
This is a new product for me, and Iâm trying it with my 9-year-old mustang. Sheâs borderline Cushingâs and sensitive to sugarsâan easy keeper who gets fat just looking at alfalfa. Sheâs drafty, warmblood-heavy, and prone to laminitis with a cresty neck, so I have to be careful.The pellets are fairly palatableâshe licks her bucket clean. I still mask supplements with cinnamon, but she doesnât seem to mind.My only gripe: the bag isnât very big for the cost. Itâs definitely pricey for my wallet, but weâll see over time if the results justify it.

A bit expensive
Its a bit on the pricey side for only being a 40 day supply, but my gelding who is extremely picky, ate it without any problem. He hasn’t been on it long enough to know if it will make a difference for him, but the ingredients seem promising and high quality.
