Came opened every time
On the surface, this is super easy to assemble and cute but the original one I ordered was obviously opened before me. I started following the instructions and found that the holes on the ramp didn’t align properly so it wouldn’t be functional. Also, the wood was warped and made it difficult to work with.I initiated a replacement hoping it was just a fluke. The second box was also obviously opened prior to me buying it. The plastic was opened and this time, the bag of screws and the screwdriver had been opened at some point as they were all over the box minus 4 of them that someone put back in the bag before closing it. This time, at least the hopes all aligned so I was able to build it fully. The wood was still warped causing the pieces to bow inward or outward when connected. I’m tired of returns and I think this will still work for my piggies now that I’ve constructed it so I’m keeping it.

The guinea pigs loved this! They immediate climbed all over it and set up shop. I’m thinking they’re looking to start setting up some guinea pig condos and selling guinea pig timeshares! A great item that is truly enjoyed by the pets! There is no doubt they’ll get more than our money’s worth out of this great play set!

This is a sturdy little guinea pig castle. I have noticed that my guinea pigs actually do prefer going up the ramp and being on top versus being underneath. Itâs a more natural look so it can go with any theme or habitat style.It does support my two girls. They are your average guinea pig chunks and it doesnât bow or look weak in anyway.I think this is well-made and itâs easy to assemble as well as use. Recommend.

The panels are thicker than the average pet house found on Amazon.There is a light varnish finishing which looks good and makes the whole structure smooth, but itâs probably best that some pets don’t eat it. (Like chinchillas)Furthermore, the structure is held together by small screws, they fit tight and the whole thing is stable, but if you have pets that love to tear down wooden structures and eat them (like chinchillas), the screws might be hazardous.For more tame pets, this is a very strong, stable structure that comes with a very good ramp and optional carpeting. You can leave it out if you don’t want your pets (like chinchillas) eat it.The whole thing looks well made, and durable, which should be expected because of the higher price range.

Amazing quality. Easy to assemble. Very good product. Unfortunately my 4 adult guinea pigs are quite large. They do not like to use the ramp or go in the top especially my 7yr old elder pig. The inside ceiling is very low, they have to crouch to go in and then once they are inside their fur drags along the ceiling. I have given this to them multiple times and it seems they have rejected it. Even though this is a great solid house I do not think it is suitable for larger adult guinea pigs. I think baby/juvenile guinea pigs would absolutely love this house. They would be happy to interact with all the features this house has to offer. Much better for their size and age.
