Great product – cat is slowly warming up to it
Our 1 yr old male cat was slow to try this out. It sat for 2 weeks with no interest before he gave it a try. We will keep it – it’s well made, tough. Easy assembly that included a little screw driver. He likes laying on it to scratch. We thought it was a no-go but I think it’s just new. Giving him time to adjust.

Must-have clawing ramp!
We just bought new furniture and were looking for clawing posts that the cats would use vs furniture. I wasnât expecting this one to be such great quality, but wow, it exceeds my expectations. Itâs larger and wider than expected. Itâs sturdy if used upright or lying flat. I started with it upright against the side of the sofa but the cats prefer it laying down like a ramp. The clawing pad is excellent quality. So many of these have cardboard inserts but this a sisal surface that my cats really enjoy clawing. Add a little cat nip and they will play all evening. So far, no clawing furniture! Iâd highly recommend this product. Itâs excellent quality and even sturdy enough for my 20 lb cat.

Seems great but my cats hate
3 stars. Product is probably great ( easy to install and set up), but my cats were not interested. I have the cat scratcher positioned on the back of my sofa. The prime spot where my cats love to sharpen their claws. The cats still seem to prefer to destroy my furniture instead of using this board. Iâll keep the product, in hopes that one day my cats will give it a try. Until then, my furniture is slowly being shredded apart.

Fortunately, it’s now the best place to scratch, my chairs are safer, the size is perfect for my apartment, it assembles in a few steps, easy and fast, it’s strong and very safe for my cats

Flawed Design
This is not a good design. It moves around when the cat uses it. The base is not sturdy enough. It also requires assembly, which is not all that straightforward. All in all, a poor product.

If I could give it 10 starts, I would. Assembled easily (with a provided mini screwdriver!). High quality product. Looks great. Cats love it. Genuinely surprised at how nice this is. Iâll be buying more products from the company.

Great Scratcher, but you have to stabilize it
I love this product but I want to share some helpful advice. Keep it on the ramp position unless you can weight down the L part of the scratcher to stabilize it. Or else affix it to the wall somehow. My cat went up to the scratcher when I had it in the upright position against the wall–she fully stretched out and went into a back stretch –and the scratcher toppeled over on top of her. It didn’t hurt her at all. The scratcher is light. Luckily she isn’t traumatized and will still use the scratcher, but you might have a cat that gets spooked. I have kettlebells in the house so I just put those on the L part –you can’t even see them. Now the cat an use the scratcher and it won’t fall on her. It looks nice, it’s sturdy, it’s functional, it’s a nice size and good value.

My cat who is great at destroying furniture loves this scratcher. It came as a kit to put together including a little screw driver. Great quality – solid wood, easy to assemble. Think Iâll look at other products by this company that my cat might enjoy.

The item itself is fine but be sure to find out if your cats will scratch the mat. Mine only like sisal rope, I learned. They won’t touch this even with catnip all over it. It also sticks out quite a ways from the couch as a tripping hazard. It’s very sturdy and well made though. But the design and use of sisal mat with weave rather than rope is a no for my three kitties.
