Nicely made and great value!
With so many feeders to choose from, I ended up picking this nicely made and easy to use feeder. The squirrel prevention slide-down function works well. Is it squirrel proof? Nothing like this is absolute and I’m sure there will be a small amount of seed shaken to the ground for them to scrounge at ground level, but the design will limit this event. I feel like this feeder works well, looks good and is a great value. I highly recommend this feeder to those that are overwhelmed by the hundreds of choices on Amazon.

Keeps squirrels away. Birds like it.
This is working well. Squirrels have given up on it and seed stays dry. The perches are large enough for moderate size birds as well as sparrows and goldfinches. First thing I’ve found that the squirrels can’t destroy. Not good for larger birds like blue jays and blackbirds, which is fine with me too.

Squirel proof feeder
Just got it and put it up late yesterday. There was a bird on it this morning. Hopefully it will work to keep the squirrels from eating the seed. I have other feeders for larger birds that are squirrel proof or have seed squirrels don’t like (Safflower), so this one is for only small birds. I like the design and it is easy to fill and clean. Today will test how well it keeps seed dry in the rain. We are having a good steady all day rain.

Birds land but do not eat. I think the holes are too small. Does keep squirrels away but also birds

Sort of works, but not really because squirrels are smart
This works in theory, the extra weight does close off the seeds, but the squirrels learned how to hold their body weight on the tree and reach in for the seeds. So all my seeds are still going to squirrels instead of the birds.
