A long hair cat was foisted upon our family about two years ago. The idea of paying for a groomer dampened my innate cheapness and I groomed her with an old hair cutting tool I had used on my son 15 years ago. The human version of this did not work well, it was loud and while it did get hair off my girl, she didn’t like it and it was a wrestling match.So, I went ahead and purchased the right tool for the job. I read the reviews and this model was much cheaper than any other model out there AND it had more attachments. I liked the idea of cordless and it claimed it was quiet and it had stainless steel and ceramic blades. It also appeared you could adjust the length of the blades and their length from the unit. Waterproof too, but why you would want to introduce water into a cat trimming exercise, is beyond me.I got the package today and decided to try it out solo since there is no one else home. I have never done this job solo. First impressions out of the box, is that it is a beautiful looking cutter. The controls are intuitive and I did not have to read the instructions (I read them in the description online the day before when I purchased the trimmer). The blade adjustment is well-designed and intuitive as well. The plastic length pieces slide on, a little different design than the old human model I tried. The best part is that it had a 47% battery level when I turned it on do I was able to use it out of the box.I went and found my cat and then turned on the trimmer. It was quiet. Yes, the cat turned her head, put I petted her while she lay there, with the cutter buzzing in my hand. Then I went to work, using the cutter from head to tail. I used the 6mm plastic piece which was the second smallest length there was.I was blown away. Seriously blown away. The trimmer flowed smooth and the hair came off with ease. I did not have to cut against the grain, the hair just came of in waves. She immediately rolled on her back and showed me her belly which let me know then, that she was comfortable with it. I was able to trim her belly hair with no issues. She started to fidget when my other idiot animals came to investigate, and I had to grab her and hold her with one hand while trimming with the other. The tool flat-out works. I was able to remove copious amounts of hair with ease, all by myself. It was the most hair I have ever taken off of her and it took half the time. Seriously, I did not think this inexpensive cutter would be this good, but it is.She did not sit still do I could trim her entirely, but I will get her when she is eating her dinner, because she is a food hound. She eats like a dog. She looks better than she ever has and my experience cutting her hair was the best I ever had. I will never pay for a groomer again, even though I never have paid for one in my life.My only regret is that I did not buy this earlier. Alas.*****Update*****I fed my cat that night and finished the job easily. She sat and ate and I gave her a trim. The next day she had a pedicure and I used the trimmer to get the long hair around her paws. The plastic blade protector I had on was too long so I used the scissors and they worked fine. They are not the best scissors I ever used but they got the job done. The razor is truly one of the best products I have used in a long time.

Impressive product AND service!! Buy it!
I bought this shaver 2.5 years ago to shave the hair around my cats bottom. 4 quick swipes and done. I have used this MAYBE 6 times in total so you do the math.Last week after charging it wouldn’t stay on. I pressed the power button and it turned right back off. I held the power button down and it turned right back off.I know it can’t be charged on an adapter over 7 volts, and it wasn’t. I’ve used the same knock off iPhone charger each time I’ve charged this thing with no issues.It is otherwise awesome. Comes with a ton of quality accessories – even a great pair of scissors – and is not loud so kitty is calm. It’s lightweight and easily manipulated. Does a quick, good job.They have a contact collars in the box so I emailed and told them this. They immediately responded (less than 12 hours) to say they would send a new one. I got it today and immediately shaved kitty. I asked for help with troubleshooting but they just immediately said don’t worry, we will send you a new one. That is amazing service to go with this quality product. Buy it. You have absolutely nothing to lose.

I would say you can’t beat the price for it quality!! Im trimed my 2 paw friends long hair one shitsue and the other one Pomeranian this Clippers work very good actually i had no problem usually they get nervous and give me problems to do it with IWEEL CLIPPERS ONE OF THEM EVEN GET TO SLEEP UNTIL I WAS DONE !!! UNBELIEVABLE RIGHT??!! Very lightweight and easy to manage. The only reason why I given 4 stars is for the sissors couldn’t use them at all they’re where possible not sharp i am not a expert on this to be honest so i cant tell the reason 100% but i dont think i need to be expert to figure out those sissors needed to be sharpened.Any ways that wasnt a problem since i had a set of sissors already but i would love to have those working since the ones i have are bigger and scary to my furry baby’s thats the only thing it would be nice to check before shipp them to a costumers. Other than that and since its an extra ticket I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS IWEEL DOG CLIPPERS!! Give it a try i have no regrets at all.

Excellent for body cut on medium size breeds
As a professional dog person, I’ve used my fair share of different clippers on different coat types. There is no holy grail clipper that can do it all. Instead, different machines are good for different jobs. You will want a tiny maneuverable one to shave a toy poodle’s foot, and you will want a heavy duty “sheep shearer” to take five years of growth off of an Old English Sheepdog’s body. Don’t expect to be able to do these two jobs with the same clipper, that’s impossible.This particular clipper would be great for body clips on a Shih Tzu or Cocker sized dog.It’s very light in your hand and will not give you Carpal Tunnel.It is very quiet as far as clippers go and will not deafen you and your dog the way an Oster would.It has two different speeds which is a godsend. Use faster speed to shave long strokes, and use slower speed to work through a matted area.It can be adjusted to cuts of different length simply by turning a dial. It’s more convenient than having to stop and change blades when you want to change the length of cut.It is not the machine for a detailed work on a small dog. It wouldn’t be ideal to use it on faces or inside of ears or between the toes.It is not for taking down years of neglect off of large dog.It is excellent for body work on a medium size dog. Want to give your miniature poodle a summer cut? Want to shave a hygiene strip on your Lhasa? Want to take feathering off of the legs of your Springer? Buy this!

These clippers are amazing! Super quiet, which is great for keeping my dog calm, and the battery lasts a long time. It comes with everything you need—different guard lengths, scissors, and a comb. The waterproof design makes cleanup easy, and it cuts smoothly without pulling. Way better than I expected for the price. Highly recommend for any pet owner!
