3. The brightness of the light has 10 levels, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90% and 100%.

Super customizable and convenient
This light works perfectly for my 10 gallon. It’s so easy to set the timer, and it’s always consistent around the clock. One of my favorite features is the gradual fade in and out of the lights; the lights don’t abruptly switch on at the exact minute you set them to and actually turn up a little bit at a time. This is great for my betta, since they don’t adjust to sudden changes in lighting as well as other species, and can get damaged eyes if dazzled.You can also change the color! I set my full spectrum for a daylight cycle, then do a little 50% B + G action for the first few hours of the night. It switches all on its own and I barely give a thought to the lighting unless I’m shuffling some plants around.I’ve used this light for months now and haven’t had a single issue with it. Even when our power went out during storms, my time settings were saved and I only needed to adjust the clock.Highly recommend this bad boy if you want a full spectrum sunlight type of thing for your plants + don’t want to hassle with an obnoxious LED fixture. Definitely a great deal for the price. Just be careful how you scape with plants that prefer more of a dim atmosphere, like them java ferns, because the light is pretty powerful and can scorch them. Other than that, this thing is great ð you should get one

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is a great light for my 10 gallon aquarium. My plants grow well, and the timer feature is great. It has a “daylight” setting where it starts off muted like the rising sun, then progresses through full day sun, then dims for “sunset”. 4 stars because programming the clock and timer is not intuitive, and there are really no instructions that come with the unit. Any time I have to unplug the unit or lose power, I forget again how to program it and have to YouTube it.

I am completely satisfied with this light, although there are a few things that could be better.pros:1 qualitatively made2 good spectrum of light3 wide functionality, with programming to meet your needs4 built-in timer5 the plants are thrivingand cons:1 could be a little brighter for this size2 every time it is turned off, you need to reprogram the timer, which is not easy at all3 the mount could be higher… it’s too close to the surface for me.I don’t regret that I bought this light, because the plants grow like crazy from it, you can see it in the future I would consider buying the light and timer separately, in case of a power outage this set would work more reliably

Not a great fit for my tank, but company does make nice lights.
I got this light for my 5.5 gallon betta tank. I liked it originally, but over time the cons outweighed the pros. I liked how bright it was and how low profile it looked. However, that also made it hard to open my tank’s lid to feed my fish and made visibility a pain when cleaning the tank, as the light had to be removed. I also did not like how water would stain the plastic cover and make it hazy. No matter what I tried, I couldn’t get the cover clean after it got water splashed on it. It says it’s waterproof, but contact with water seemed to damage the plastic permanently.The worst thing though is how it caused crazy algae growth. I had it on a 8 hour timer, but because it sat so low on the tank, it was super concentrated on one area, causing green algae and brown hair algae to explode in the tank. My floating plants were also unhappy as the light didn’t actually hit most of them as it was so concentrated. I wish it came with extenders for the legs to make it sit higher, but I didn’t want to spend another twenty bucks to buy longer replacement legs or a riser. I ended up returning it and buying a clip on light from the same company. I’m very happy with that decision. The light is still very bright but is more diffused so it doesn’t cause an algae issue. My fish also seems happier and more explorative if you can believe that! If you have a similar tank setup I strongly suggest to skip this light and get the clip on light available from the same brand!

Muy buena compra, la compre para automatizar mi pecera y cumplio perfecto. Tiene la opción de dÃa, noche y 24hrs. La programación es un poco enredosa al principio pero ya que le entiendes es muy facil. Lo único es que si la luz se va, el reloj se desprograma y hay que iniciar todo de nuevo, pero pues supongo es normal.

La lámpara está de muy buen material, se adapta perfectamente al acuario, la programación hay que buscarle un poquito, lo único que no me gustó es que cuando se va la luz se desprograma el tiempo y ya no apaga en el momento que debe de pagar, encuanto a ilumiinación tiene muy bonitos colores y sirve para acuarios plantados, pero siempre hay que buscar qué tipo de plantas requieren esa cantidad de luz.
