These are new clippers after using old clippers for so long. Right out of the box onto a dirty horse even!!! Went thru the hair smooth and effortless. The wright of this clipper is light but cuts heavy duty even for winder cut. Wish I had bought them years earlier!!

This clipper really powers through thick hair without slowing down. This is great for any horse, dog, or cat that needs to be trimmed. It is quiet for how powerful it is. I am impressed that even after a few uses, the blades work just as well as the first time I used them. Very high quality and easy to use.

WAHL MAXCOAT AFFORDABLE FOR HOME & GROOMING PROFESSIONALS
UPDATE:Nowadays, taking my lab to the dog groomer costs $200 a time. Multiply that X 2 labs x 13 – 15 trips a year.That doesnât include Toby, my momâs Aussie-healer. Thatâs probably another $100. So doing the math on all of that,I am saving around $7,500 a year on haircuts. I bought my first pair of Wahl maxcoats in 2021.That set lasted me until Nov of last year. For Christmas, I got a set of KM10s like I requested. I plugged them in the same outlet as the maxcoats. It didnât take long to find out what happened to both sets. The motors were fried. I sent the km10s back first.Wahl replaced them for a brand new set. I bought another maxcoat set in the meantime.When I got the km10s back, I sent off my maxcoats.I received a brand new set on the Mail over the weekend. Wahl is an awesome brand with affordable clippers that pay for themselves in the first haircut session with 3 dogs!!I am so thankful to of found out that I didnât have to spend a fortune over my tater and hanks lifetime to keep them clean and groomed!!The clippers cut through their hair like butter!Thank you WahlââââI just bought my second pair of these. WAHL is TOP KNOTCH! I have a KM10 as well. the clipper blades and guards inner change between both clippers!If you enjoy grooming your furbaby from home, are tired of paying expensive prices for keeping your animals clean, or like me, found out that my HANKIE DOG got abused and WONT LET ANYONE touch your animals EVER again⦠this is the way to go!!They are even good and economical enough to keep in a grooming shop!!

Very quiet and smooth operation
These “Wahl Pro Animal Equine MaxCoat Horse Clipper – Horse, Dog & Cat Clipper – Powerful Pet Grooming Clipper – Corded Pet Clipper – Quiet – Black” are quite nice. There are two speeds and a very sturdy competition series clipper blade. It unfortunately didn’t come with any guards, so I had to find some that would fit on this blade (it’s considered an A5 style or competition blade; this information helped me in my search, so I thought I would include it in this review).I didn’t want to use these on my furry friend without trying them on myself first. I decided to give myself a haircut using this clipper and wow! These clippers are super quiet, even on the highest setting, which is obviously great for pets because they startle easily. The vibration of the clippers is very gentle and won’t startle them either. I also noticed that the clippers still cut hair with little to no resistance (just as easy, or more so, than the other clippers I have for myself). Not once did I feel like my hair was pulled or yanked by the blade; it was a very nice experience and I now know pets won’t have an issue with these clippers. There was also a very even finish to the cut.The cord is really really long, which is also great and it was easy to clean them off (I just vacuumed the hair off of them and put them away).After using these on myself, that made me feel very confident about using them on my furry friend for a trim.This is a great buy and I highly recommend.
