It actually floats well and my cichlids love it. These pellets are for medium to large fish as I get the larger ones. They enjoy this a lotIt’s a bit pricey but worth it. Helps them with their color too from what i can tell.

Hikari is a trusted brand in my books. I feed this to my Oscar, Uaru, Severum, Geophagus, Convicts, Knife fish, Firemouth and others. Their feeding response is more aggressive with this than with other pellets from other brands. Good coloration on my fish, but water quality is the most important.
