Cheap, but very reliable
The aerator was purchased for a small pond–about the size if a large planter–that went in my front patio, i.e., outdoor use. We intended to keep a few small fishes so giving them a good air supply was important. This was the smallest and cheapest thing I could find. To my surprise, it is relatively quiet. It has been running 24/7 for about 3 months and still going strong. It is not the quietest air pump, but for this price I was not expecting it to be. I mainly use it outside so not a problem for me. Overall, I would say that this thing is worth it for the price if you have realistic expectations.

Good filter for the money but had to buy additional equipment
Pump works well for the cost. I have it connected to a corner sponge filter. As others have mentioned, I had a lot of trouble keeping the airline tubing connected to the check value and pump. It was very frustrating to use with the equipment provided. After buying a new check value and airline tubing from a pet store, it is much quieter and doesnât walk around. Have not had any issues with it since buying the additional equipment. Would recommend any buyer to do the same and not rely on the included airline tubing.

It’s too loud
It’s much louder than I like. I have it connected to a sponge filter inside my fish tank. It creates LOTS of bubbles and makes my whole tank vibrate, even though it’s not touching my tank or the table the tank is on. I wish there was a way to control the flow. If I could turn it down, maybe it wouldn’t vibrate the tank so much. I hope it’s not bothering my fish too much. I have ordered a different style of pump to try. We’ll see how that goes.

DO NOT BUY!!
I would NOT recommend this pump!!! As far as the bubbler itself, it puts out a good amount of bubbles. The noise level and vibration is terrible, the pump stays on the hot side and the hose is too small for where it fits the pump. I have to reattach the hose every other day! It’s an overall headache.
