Awesome awesome awesome! Very sturdy, the magnetic top is great, itâs a nice size, and the price canât be beat. These go for almost double at the pet stores. It looks great, itâs very clear and see through so perfect for little critters. I use it to populate springtails and isopods and works wonderfully. Itâs very sturdy as well and can hold a lot of weight.

Excellent enclosure for slings. Iâm already planning on buying some more for a few more baby spoods Iâm planning on getting this summer. The acrylic is crystal clear and excellent thickness making this enclosure feel nice as well as looks great. The access from two points the front and top is great. I despise these bottom opening enclosures ppl are selling online as it makes it difficult to handle your spood or work with the enclosure when adjustments are needed. The front opening enclosures imho are the best way to go as they allow the spider to be easily accessed without disturbing any of their webbing. They work very hard to create their nests and hammocks and itâs a shame to destroy it everytime you have to feed them or do anything with them or the enclosure. The price for this enclosure already built is a great deal as well. Sturdy, clear viewing, easy access, perfect size for slings without any gaps to worry about escaping babies; makes this an enclosure worth owning. I have an otiosus baby in the one I got. My paraphiddipus fartilis is in a enclosure this size but itâs not nearly as nice when it comes to the clearness of the acrylic or the thick sturdiness of the acrylic so iâm planning to buy atleast one more atm for her to be upgraded into this one.

Almost perfect, great air flow, escaping fruit flies, but still great!
If not for the fact that I have had to capture numerous flies that escape through the cracks, I still give this enclosure 4 out of 5 stars. I originally tried these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DLZMSDT1?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1This is a enclosure that is slightly bigger, but the air holes are more designed for an amphibian or reptile. The Mygiikaka retains more humidity.Despite the slightly smaller width and depth and few escaping fruit flies, I much prefer these Smartang enclosures. They are much better at air flow(same height as Mygiikaka). They do not stay as humid as the Mygiikaka, a plus for spider and insect keepers, a minus for those with amphibians, reptiles and others that require higher long term humidity.I bought these Smartang enclosures for my Bold jumping spiders, where they will stay until ready for permanent, big boy/girl habitats. I give them direct sun twice a day for 2 hours in the morning and evening. Because of proper air flow, my Jumpers’ enclosures do not over heat or get too humid. Obviously you can not keep any hab in direct sun light all day. Anyway, if you don’t mind babysitting your jumpers when its feeding time, these make great habs for jumpers. Only gave 4 stars due to fruit fly escapes.Update A week later. I still love these and much prefer them to the other brand mentioned in review. Out of the 6 I ordered, 3 have a gap where there shouldn’t be, across the length of the front from one side to the other about a centimeter from top. A rubberband remedied the situation easily. No regrets and if I were going to own more spiders I would still buy these again without hesitation.

Super awesome for jumping spiders
It is exactly as pictured, a clear box with sliding hatch on top and open door on the front. It is definitely well ventilated, be careful if you have baby spiders that are small enough to fit through the holes, you’ll have to wait until they get bigger until you move them into this. It is so fun to decorate and worked really well for our adult jumping spider. It is sturdy, everything closes well, it’s easy to see everything inside. We put a little light on top for the spider at night so it’s never in the dark and it looks super cute.

Arrived in perfect condition due to it being wrapped very carefully. So glad I donât have to assemble it. Size wise, I would not put a tarantula, or at least an adult in there for a permanent home. However, it is a perfect size for a (small)scorpion, isopods, roaches and smaller spiders. I think the best thing I love about it is the magnetic lid lock, perfect for those little escape artistsð

It’s well made of thick acrylic, however, it’s probably better suited for an arid small critter vs soil/high humidity & water. It seems the weight of the wet soil has caused the longer sides to bow out a bit. I now have to pinch the sides in order to get the lid to fasten. It can hold water when placing it down lengthwise, but don’t suggest due to the potential for the sides to warp and cause the sealed edges stress. Strong magnets hold the lid in place. I’ve been keeping my rubber ducky isopods in it so I can display them. Now that I’ve had more time using the product I will be seeking something more sturdy. I may switch this enclosure to my small velvet spiderling which it would be better suited with a light and dry substrate. For this reason I’m changing my rating from 5 to 4.

I do not like it im returning it WAY TOO SMALL for me feeling comfortable with my jumping spider in it. It would be good for baby breeding spiders I guess while there babies. It’s well built that’s all.

This is a brilliant enclosure for my isopods and they are loving it and thriving, But the only problem Iâve had with it is it not closing the whole way (only a thumbs width or so) in which Iâve had to move around the inside. It may be a one off thing but apart from that its superb and I highly recommend.

Really impressed with this enclosure ! Iâve set up a bio active terrarium for my new jumping spider. It is on the larger side but I really like the fact it has a door and roof opening. I havenât had it too long yet but so far I am impressed!
