Strong, Reliable Clippers That Make Nail Trims Stress-Free
We love this clipper! My previous one was so flimsy it couldnât even get through my dogâs thick nails, but this one is strong and sturdyâmaking nail trims quick and far less traumatic for my drama queenâs âspa days.â Now I can easily keep all my animalsâ nails in check at home, saving money on grooming appointments. It even works for my catâs nails, as long as Iâm extra careful.The built-in safety guard is a lifesaver for someone like me whoâs terrified of cutting too short. That said, if your pupâs nails havenât been trimmed in a while, the guard might still be a bit too long at first and could nick the blood supply. I found trimming a teeny tiny bit each week got my dogâs nails back to a healthy length. My adviceâgo slow at first until youâre comfortable, and youâll love these clippers as much as I do.

Does the Job
These clippers did a great job! The cut really smoothly and the “guard” is nice to have. However, even with that guard I was able to cut my dogs nail too short and it bled. Other than that – super easy to squeeze, not very loud, easy to use in general.

Good nail clipper
This nail clipper has worked well for us. We got a small one and it is perfect for our 25# dog. Itâs easy to use and she doesnât mind it at all. It doesnât take much force to clip her nails and the guard makes it easy

Best quality fits great in my hands
These are the best clippers Iâve ever owned. Iâve been cutting our dogs nails for over 20 years and have never had a better pair of clippers. They are just the right size for my hands. We have 3 dogs a chihuahua a shitzu and large breed puppy. They worked great on all three they are sturdy sharp fast at clipping without breaking their nails. They even have a metal file that comes out of the bottom to help file any sharp edges. Well made comfortable in my hands and I love the color!

Can âsplitâ nails if not done at the right angle and pressure.
Itâs probably a fine nail nipper. In my case I had to start maintaining my 16 y.o cats nails as he got older. Given he had never had them trimmed before he can be a bit hard to work with. So a fair bit of the time when I use them it will âsplitâ his nail. Which of course he doesnât love. The nail file was a good touch. If I can get him into the right angle, it might not split, but because heâs so not used to the sensation itâs a little tricky to get him into said right spot.

It has an ergonomic design that makes it comfortable to use, even after several cuts. The blades are sharp and cut the nails quickly and cleanly, without hurting or leaving rough edges.I like that it includes lock insurance, which makes it safer to store and avoids accidents. In addition, the non-slip handle helps a lot to have good control while using, which gives confidence, especially if your pet moves a little.In summary, it is a good quality product, easy to use and perfect for both dogs and cats. Nice little clippers, bought as a replacement for an old set so I could have a new sharp set for my ancient rabbit needing a trim.He’s an incredibly old eldritch beast of a rabbit and feels very birdboned so I tend to prefer to be very gentle when handling him which luckily he is more than happy to tolerate.The blades are sharp, the mechanism is smooth when you squeeze and you get a nice quick chop out of it with good control so I’m glad we bought these.They do have a quick guard to control the amount you trim but we have not needed it as our cryptid’s nails grow very fast and I always need to take off a little more than the guard allows and I tend to go for speed doing these jobs (luckily for me his claws are all white/clear enough to see the quick) but it does just slide out of the way easily when you’re not using it so that’s great.We got the smaller size as rabbit claws aren’t known to be super chunky but I reckon it would work well for most small/medium dog breeds as well, honestly.Good value for money, sturdy, thick comfortable handle with good grip but not so chunky you can’t maneuver when needed.Fastest nail trim session in a while.Eldritch beast approved.
