Why did you pick this product vs others?:I liked the look of this log. Very realistic will make a great hiding space for our axolotls. Large enough for juvenile and adult axolotls.

Attractive hide for aquarium
My axolotl likes this hide, but I had to file down some sharp edges before its use. The hide is attractive and looks good in my aquarium. It is sturdy and a good size.

Looks like white pine, love it. No weird smells, fairly heavy larger fish wonât move it around. Have a large stripped catfish and fits inside

Scale rot!!
Shortly after i bought this my snake began to get scale rot. i have never had issues with his scales before until this. I believe this hide could be the reason why due to the rough surface which caused irritation to the scales. its also a very small hide if you are look for a bigger hide this is definitely not it. I would recommend going to a pet store for a hide instead of buying this one.
