Good quality & size
Alive, fat & big. Would suggest putting âlive animalâ on box. Normally mail carrier delivers those to the door. This box only had temp range sticker & was put in mailbox. Fortunately I was home & got Amazon notification it was delivered they wouldnât have survived long in the mailbox.

All dead, inappropriate packaging for shipping live creatures
The first time I ordered, they were shipped in an appropriate container, a stiff paper bag stored in a package clearly marked to indicate live creatures inside, and they had several biodegradable egg carton pieces so they were able to move around, which also allows them to regulate their temperature. I worried about the heat in shipping but the appropriate packaging kept them safe and cool enough to survive 100% even though they arrived a few days late. They were clearly gut loaded as they were not hungry or dehydrated when presented with food in their new container.Second shipment they were all dead. They were in a plastic container which was even hotter on the inside than the box it was contained in, with no substrate, food, climbing material or anything else which would have allowed them some temperature regulation, with the label of a different company from last time on the plastic. Some of them had clearly been eating each other in transit, which gut loaded meal worms don’t do. Not eligible for a refund as I will not be returning or replacing them. Never again, straight up cruel and irresponsible way to ship living things. I would not be nearly so disappointed if the first package had not indicated a high level of knowledge and care.

All worms arrived alive
The last batch I got from this company was excellent and they were all indeed king worms are superworms but this batch I received today had a lot of little small worms in it. When I say a lot out of 98 there was about 15 small worms about an inch and a half long. Maybe they’ll grow by the time I get ready to feed Larry our bearded dragon. They were all alive though no more dead just some little fellows included with the superworms. Needless to say my son counts them when they come and there was 98 including the small ones so it is close to 100.

Most Of Them Died
I like that it came in a plastic container instead of the usual bag. But the substrate they put in it ended up compressing to the point they all stayed above it. I tried to loosen it up and add some of my own but after my Dragon went into a mini hibernation, they all died in the container. I might have been able to feed 50 of them? Ordering more but in the usual 100 count instead. I’ll put them in my own substrate like I usually do.
