Good Power Supply!
I bought this to power a small Bluetooth 2.1 amp. When it came in the package, there were no instructions, but it’s not hard to figure out. There are three V+ (positive), three V- (negative), a ground, a Neutral, and a Line screw. I took apart an old computer power cord and used that as my power cord. I then used the fins on the right side to zip tie the cord to the box. That way, I’m not relying on the screws if there is any tension on the cord.I connected a multi-meter to the outputs and played with the adjustment screw. It went all the way up to 40V, but then I set it back down to exactly 36 volts for what I needed it for. But it’s good that it can go up higher than that.It does have a fan that will turn on if it needs to, but it hasn’t needed to yet.Overall, this is a nice power supply with some pretty decent capacitors. When you pull the power, you will notice that it takes a long time for the power LED to go out. Almost 30 seconds total! That’s a good thing because having good capacitors means that the power output will be steady.I would definitely buy this again, if I needed another one. It’s very well made.

24/7 Performance
Used this in an LED pixel tape setup with a breadboard inside of a mini golf hole. That thing was powered on 24/7 for weeks and didnât fail once. Excited to pull it out on a couple months to use again.

Great external power supply, I like the option of running this on 120v or 220v I used some washers as spacers to keep the power supply 1/4â off the wood back to allow air flow and to keep the heat away. I did notice the one side gets a bit hot, but if needed you could alway add a cooling fan. For my project I had two 5 volt devices, this power supply was great because each device had its own set of terminals. Once I hooked up my devices, I noticed the power dropped from 5v to 4.8, so there is a pot that I was able to adjust to 5.1v.

Looks to be good quality, wired it up and it’s putting out 24v. Will be using equipment in August of 2025, if I didn’t update it’s still working great

Very good PS 5V. Keep voltage very steady on consume variation. Has a dial that will adjust the voltage in the range of max. 15%. Do not overheat and very stabile. Great PS for 5V projects.

Received two defective units in a row / Zero stars if that was an option
I ordered the 12V 30A unit. It arrived packaged in a padded, kraft paper envelope and the product box had a crushed-in corner which translated into a slightly bent metal frame on the power supply itself. I tested the unit and it did not work–the power indicator did not light and there was no output on 12V output terminals.I returned that unit and ordered an exact replacement item.The replacement item arrived in a padded, plastic bag. There was no apparent damage to the product box. I tested the new unit and it did not work–the power indicator did not light and there was no output on 12V output terminals.I returned that unit for a refund and ordered a different Mean Well brand unit (not yet received at the time I’m writing this) which I hope will work when I receive it
