Quality made
These heavy duty cross ties for horses come with a panic snap and a bull snap. The panic snap is designed for optimum locking and quick release in an emergency, and opens under pressure or load. These are different than Iâve had prior made of heavy duty nylon webbing with adjustable lengths. Included is a pair of heavy duty hanging rings and the screws to match. I like how they operate. Quality made. Recommend

All in all these are a good product. I have two concerns, one being the clasps on the ties seem to be of lesser quality. Two, the rings come with 1â (approx) screws. Now if your horse is well mannered neither of these would be an issue. But in the event they are not or something spooked them, I feel like both issues could be a breaking point.That being said my horse is well mannered and I am using some 2â lag bolts instead of the supplied screws I feel like they are much more secure.

Opened the package thinking it was something else because of the weight and it was these. These are a great quality! They are well made and the metal is solid. My younger child struggles a bit with the hooks but that’s not a downfall of the product. Price is good for the quality.

The weight is nice and they’ve held up, but I needed these to be just a tad longer to really be ideal for my taller (7′) trailer and smaller (14.2h) horses.

All in one package
All in one good value. Contains 2 cross tie straps and the mounting plates (however, they include really short screws that we didn’t use – they may have worked ok since there are 4, but, the engineer in me used 3″ deck screws instead lol). The straps appear to be well made and nicely adjustable. They aren’t quite as heavy as other sets I have purchased, but those now cost almost the same as this entire package just for one strap. Nylon is quite strong, so I have no doubt that these will perform as expected – and have, so far. We store these in the barn out of the sunlight and weather when not in use to help preserve the integrity and longevity. The one photo in the display is incorrect as it shows the ‘panic release’ connection at the horse and not at the mounting plate. The quick release should be at the plate so you could reach it if the horse needed to be released – this would leave the strap on the horse and also give you more distance from an excited horse.

Sturdy and Effective Cross Ties
I ordered these cross ties in light blue and was impressed with how sturdy they are. The attachment rings come with four bolts to easily and firmly secure them- in my case to the 8X8 wall posts in our indoor arena. I added a cross tie area at the entrance where we have a large rubber mat and where the farrier usually works. The length of the cross ties is easily adjustable, which has already been handy for using with a small pony v. a large thoroughbred. All the connections are heavy duty with a swivel attachment to connect to the mounted ring and the quick disconnect on the horse end which works just as expected.I took one out to our horse trailer and noted that the length is on the long side for trailer use. You would need to have it almost to the minimum length. Also, at least in our trailer, there would be no way to mount those attachment rings on the metal walls. I assume the rings they provide are for mounting one wood in a barn aisle or arena like we did.Overall, I’m very happy with these cross ties!
