Works well to keep chimneys clear of build up. Use as directed ( after fire when chimney is already hot ), just throw on top of the hot coals and log burns evenly.

What I was expecting
I have used these in the past but haven’t been able to find them locally so Amazon to the rescue. It burned as it should, was easy to use, great value for the money, and I will be buying again.

Number 1) Itâs several reasons why I gave it three stars number 2) Did I smell anything in my house when I started to burn it the answer is a little bit not much but a little bit !!! a little bit of a chemical smell, but you have to understand what we are using this for so it has to have some type of chemical in it in order for it to work Number 3) I see a lot of reviews where people are saying that the Log does not stay ð¥ lit to be quite honest with you the instructions says to put this log down after you burn a fire and sit it down on the hot embers I truthfully do not believe that will work because I did have a little bit of hard time getting it to go like any fire number 4) the best way to get this thing working is to put the log in a existing Fire the instructions tells you the total opposite, but I currently do not see what the difference will be the chemicals still being activated and doing what itâs supposed to do do I recommend this product? why not do I know if it cleaned my chimney? No, I do not know but I will know when I go on top of my roof this Sunday to clean it from top down because I have already did it from bottom up but thatâs before I purchased the cleaning𪵠log now I have burnt the Log so I will clean it from the top down now as far as the chemical smell thatâs expected youâre buying something to release a certain chemical to clean the chimney. I mean when you go fill up your car with gas are you telling me you donât smell gas so if you burn something thatâs meant to clean something youâre going to smell some type of chemical thatâs like even if youâre burning a fire in your fireplace are you telling me you donât smell Fire Wood burning some people just have to use common sense and improvise how to get things working number 4) this is the end of my review and being that I was on it and gave such a good review. At least I think this company should at least send me a couple of logs one more thing I may add when I receive this cleaning Log I believe it came with three or four fire starters that 100% does not work that I will not give a review Want because it was horrible, but the Log did what it had to do. This is the end of my review.
