Easy to read. Simple instructions. Highly recommend and will order again. I test once weekly and my fish tank is 5.5 gallon with a Betta and a Bridtnose Pleco. Easy to understand parameters

As soon as I received this product I tested 4 of my tanks and compared the productâs results with the API test strips I had on hand. Happy that they came out pretty close. Maybe these new strips were more sensitive to nitrate as that showed slightly higher than the API test strips. Even so Iâd rather err on the side of caution. Iâm satisfied with this product.

The strips I received do not work
After couple months of use to be certain, the strips I received DID NOT WORK. All that happens is the little squares get wet and darken, without showing any differences in parameters between uses whatsoever.

Really a 10-in-1, and stinky.
Overwhelming ammonia scent and poor nitrite sensitivity.The nitrate only shows if greater than 1ppm, which is too late.Every time I open the jar, my wife asks, “What’s that SMELL?” – even across the house. The ammonia scent is strong and persistent.The test seems accurate enough, though, compared to previous tests. Useless for nitrite, as I’d see dead fish before the strip would register, but nitrate and ammonia are useful ranges.

This is the one I always buy. It works very well for me. Unless you want to get into a whole system of analyzing each water parameter and keeping track of a bunch of chemicals and test tubes just buy this. Accurate enough to make decisions about how to treat my fish tanks but also quick and easy. My local pet store will do a free in depth analysis if I need to narrow things down beyond what I can get done with these strips. These work great!

Iâve never had an aquarium before so, after the terrible decease of our first fish (Rip Jeff), I bought this kit to help me understand the water quality abd prevent further losses. Itâs been a great tool to manage all the major water imbalances that an aquarium faces. It helped me control water quality with ease and my fishes have been thriving.

Great to think that you could test aquarium easily, but I find to get accurate results I need to use the liquid testers. My aquarium store agrees although they sell these because people want them. And, by the way the ammonia tester on these strips doesn’t work at all.
