Incredible coat
What an amazing value. It runs really small 2-3 sizes easily. Additionally, it is a very warm coat, I wore it on a 70 degree day had to take the liner out and was still sweating. Winter ATGAT no doubt!260 lbs 6’4″ ended up ultimately with an 4xlCouldn’t even get my arms into an 2xl.Well made, amazing price, and a must have in the gear closet, even if you only use it once a year!

Great price and product. I bought the coat and pants to take a 4600 mile bike trip. we went thru Sturgis, Bear tooth Mnts. Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and a lot of Utah and Colorado and ended up on Pikes peak then driving back to OHIO. some of the mornings were in the low 40 degree range and mountain passes almost 30 degrees. we drove into many rain storms and only needed to close the vents and keep rolling. the outfit kept me warm and dry and I would recommend this outfit to any rider taking rides and long trips. for 30 years I have worn leather jacket and chaps and always had to stop to get the rain gear on and then take it back off. NO more of that, Great product and very happy I purchased this outfit. I approve this message. Gene

Giant Neck Opening – Motorcycle Jacket or Space Suit?
Size – I’m 5’9″ and weigh 160 pounds and typically where a 42R jacket. Just an average guy. The medium fits me fine with the liner in and all of the adjustment straps in their tightest position. With the liner out it’s a little roomy, but not bad at all. No issues with quality control or zippers. I think that for the price, this jacket is a bargain. I also own Tourmaster textile and Milwaukee leather jackets, both in black so those are my premium comparisons. I wanted something bright with plenty of reflective options for my work commute so I purchased this jacket in hi vis green. The only thing that I don’t like about the jacket is the size of the neck opening. It’s gigantic. Like space suit gigantic. I feel like I should be attaching a helmet to my space suit when I wear this thing. I’d like to meet the person that has a neck this big. I can fit my fist in the neck opening with room to spare when I have this on. There really isn’t any way to pull it snug. This will be an issue in the rain and cold. I ride a naked bike, but if your bike has good weather protection then this may not be an issue. I can mitigate the cold by wearing a scarf or gaiter, but the rain is a different story. What’s the point of having a waterproof jacket if the collar is a rain scoop? Rain is just going to leak in and soak your clothes. This is a design flaw. look at the phots and other jackets out there and compare the neck opening/collars with this one and you can see the difference. If HWK would address that issue, this would be an amazing value jacket. Still on the fence about keeping it or returning it for something else. YMMV.

True to size with a good amount of storage. Comfortable, not too stiff easy on and off. Looks good with good padding. Only complaint is the zipper is European, so zips on the wrong side for men in the US

As a female Supersport bike rider that is plus size, I could not be happier with this jacket.I will say look at measurements. Measure yourself and order accordingly. I ended up needed to exchange for a different size but the return and exchange was so easy.Stitching is sturdy, I could not find any loose stitching on the seams, or velcro. Hardware is solid, zippers move easily even when you have gloves on. The jacket has velcro on the wrist that covers your zipper hardware and makes it adjustable if you are wearing gloves, sweatshirt or nothing. The main zipper is protected from the elements— there is a layer of fabric, then a closure over that layer with velcro and snaps. The collar has a velcro closure that holds well, keeps the wind/rain off your throat. There are pockets everywhere! Removable liner works well, keeps you warm and dry, easy in and easy out. Visibility factor goes without saying.

Thoughtful features for the price
I am 5’7″ and 165 lbs. I wear a 16/32 shirt and a 40 suit jacket. The small size fit me best and placed the soft CE armor in the right places.I originally got the Medium and used it on an 1,100 mile, four day tour through Utah and Arizona. Temps ranged from below 40F to the low 90’s. I didn’t use the decent quilted liner, as I prefer to select my own underlayers. I found the jacket to be fairly comfortable at the whole temperature range and the venting to be as effective as might be expected. Fortunately/unfortunately, I didn’t encounter any rain, so I cannot give my first-hand account on that issue.While the medium jacket appeared to be correct by the sizing chart, it was larger than expected. Whereas the style is fairly long-bodied, this resulted in a lot more bunching of the zipper flap up front and pushed the stiff, velcro collar closure up under my jaw. I don’t have a tank protector, so the cordura left some minor markings on the clear coat that need to be buffed out. The top of the collar began to irritate my throat after a few hours of riding, such that I put on a neck gaiter just to buffer it.After that ride, I returned the M for an S, which fits ideal. While I haven’t yet tested it on the road, the dimensions are much better for me.I own other jackets from Tour Master and Pilot which cost far more than the HWK. I found the HWK gear to be of equal quality in construction and materials and to have some thoughtful design features that made it more versatile. I think my pillion is going to like having that large pocket on the back where she can store her phone and maybe some road snacks.Overall, I can recommend this product as an exceptional value. This will be my cold/moderate weather jacket moving forward. I live in the Mojave Desert, so I think it will be rested for the summer months.

Love the jacket, plenty of pockets, zip out liner good for summer.The teeth on the zip are a bit fine, can be a bit hard to start the zip.The velcro front collar sometimes digs into my throat.
