Hilarious and Adorable⦠If Your Cat Forgives You Later
This costume is ridiculously cute and it turns your pet into a tiny rider of a black cat, and itâs guaranteed to make everyone laugh. The material is surprisingly soft and lightweight, with adjustable straps that actually stay put without digging in. The little rope carrot and toy mouse were fun extras too. The price of $9 is appropriate and I’m happy with it for that price. I appreciate that and recommend it on the fact they aren’t over charging while still giving us a decent product with two extra toys!I got the small and it fit well. I think I could have gone up a size. Nugget is still a kitten and I don’t think he will fit into it much longer. I don’t think he will mind!A word of advice from experience, be patient and let your kitty get used to it first. Donât make the same mistake I did and rush it, Nugget was not amused at first. If your cat hates it (and letâs face it, they probably will), donât leave it on for long. Supervise, reward with extra treats and lots of snuggles or their favorite activity and thank them for the laughs afterward!We definitely captured Nuggetâs true feelings in the pictures, equal parts betrayal and pure Halloween magic. ðð¾

This Halloween pet costume is well-made and definitely funnyâgreat for a quick photo op if your pet will tolerate it!I originally ordered it for my small dog, but it turned out to be smaller than I expected and didnât fit her at all. I ended up trying it on our cat, Zelda, and while she looked hilarious in it, she was not a fan. She refused to walk around wearing it, but I did manage to snap a few cute pictures before she staged her escape.Despite the sizing issue, Iâm still giving it 4 stars because the costume itself is in great condition, the stitching is solid, and the design is clever. Just be sure to double-check the measurements and keep in mind that not every pet will be thrilled to wear it. No weird odors. If it had fit my dog, I think it wouldâve been a hit!Recommend.

And I know how important choosing what to spend your money on isðI got this for my tiniest dog, a 6lb Chihuahua, who is the most tolerant of my small dogs.XS costume fit: Her neck girth is about 9 inches. This could go up to 11 inches. Her ribcage is 17″. On her the body strap goes below that so was a bit loose. It could easily fit around her ribs if it rode that high.Upon inspection:Cheaply made? Sort of. It was very inexpensive. So, exactly what I expected in appearance. But it isn’t going to fall apart and the secure stitching was a nice surprize. It’s just no work of art and the materials are not for haute coutureðDurability: Here they didn’t skimp. Everything from the Velcro to the points of attachment for the cat are very secure.Overall Safety: Per above, everything is strongly constructed.Fake eyes safety: I debated on this. Safety eyes normally used for children’s toys were not used. These are glued on. I decided this was actually the safest because they are so tiny, were she to chew them off (I’m not giving her that opportunity) they would be easy to swallow. Safety eyes are basically plastic screws and nuts. These would cause much more damage if swallowed.Weight: This weighs less than 6 ounces. Once it was on my Chi didn’t seem to notice.Comfort: Soft with 2 wide easily adjustable straps with Velcro. Be careful with long haired dogs! ð©Pros:Easy to put on. Extremely lightweight. Could withstand some brutality from a small dog.Cons:Aesthetically it would be nice to o be able to bend the cat into positions. I doubt this could be made in a way safe enough, so not really a con.The eyes may be a safety issue. See notes above. Simple solution! Don’t let your dog have it as a toy!Final thoughts:Super cute and comfortable. I would not force any animal afraid of it to wear it. That’s a form of animal cruelty to subject your pet to fear for your amusement. Took less than 10 seconds to put this on her and easily adjusted. Very affordable.If your pet is freaked out by it? Put it on one of your kids/grandkids stuffed animals. As long as the child is over 3 years old as the eyes are not the safety style.I bet it could even go on a large squash on your porch. cute but size may be be off
Ok sizing is a little off. I got the small for a small dog. Now i have a long hair chihuahua 9lbs and did not fit her. I was able to fit on my cat and he went ballistic. Was well worth the laugh watching him flip around then low crawl everywhere. Very good consturction it held up to the cats moments of terror. It is cute for sure just wish the sizing was a little better. But for the prize its solid just go bigger than you would think.

This costume is absolutely adorable, and the little cat on the back is very well-made and has some weight, which makes it look extra realistic. My dog is 15 lbs, and according to the sizing chart, I ordered a medium. Unfortunately, it barely fit around her belly. Because of the snug fit, the costume easily came off when she ran or played, especially during roughhousing with our cat.The neck and waist straps are Velcro, which makes putting it on easy, but the overall material feels like felt and may not hold up well with very active dogs. I would recommend this costume for calmer pets or for photo sessions, rather than for dogs that like to play energetically.Pros:Super cute and detailed designVelcro straps make dressing easyCat on the back is fun and noticeableCons:Sizing chart can be misleading; fits snugly around the bellyCostume can come off easily with active dogsFelt material may not be very durableOverall, itâs a charming costume with great visual appeal, just plan for your dogâs activity level when choosing a size.
