If you are a painter, sculptor or decorator working in ceramics, pottery, floral arranging, model-making, clay design, cake decorating and other artistic work you will find this wheel a perfect choice
The base and top are all high grade and heavy duty made of nearly indestructible heavy cast metal joined with a heavy-duty ball bearing that allows the top to spin easily. Holds up to 40 lbs
The base has a non-skid rubber boot that holds the wheel firmly in place without the need to drill holes in your work station
The top is designed with concentric circles to allow easy centering of your work and the rim is weighted to give the wheel extra momentum when you spin it
It is tall enough (3-3/4″) for you to get your hand beneath the top so you can rotate it while you work. lthough it has heavy-duty construction it is still light enough (5 lbs.) so that you can easily move it around when necessary
Customers say
Customers find the sculpting wheel sturdy and well-constructed, with smooth and even rotation, and one customer notes it holds up to 10-12 rotations with just a spin. The wheel is heavy and customers consider it good value for money. While some customers report no rust issues, others mention that the metal coating comes right off.

Good product.
This was well made, a little heavy and sturdy, the metal cleans easy and it spins evenly.

A Must-Have for Potters! – Smooth, Sturdy and Reliable
I purchased this sculpting wheel two years ago, and itâs still going strong! I use it regularly for glazing and applying wax resist to my pottery. For me, itâs a game-changer. Hereâs why I love it:Heavy Duty All-Metal Construction: Itâs all-metal, solid, and relatively heavy.Smooth Spinning Action: It spins very smoothly.Compact but Effective: For me, itâs a great size. Make sure this size will work for you.Durable and Long-Lasting: After 2 years, it still looks and functions like new (see video).Great Value: I did a bunch of research and thought it was a great one for the price.I use this wheel almost every time Iâm in my studio and after two years, itâs still one of my most reliable tools. Highly recommend!

Perfect!
This sculpting stand has been perfect for my daughter, who loves painting mini flower pots. Itâs sturdy, rotates smoothly, and gives her the perfect angle while she works. Great quality and exactly what we needed for her creative projects!

This is the one
This is an excellent little banding wheel for the price. As long as your work is an appropriate size (the wheel head is only 7″ in diameter) then this is a great little piece of equipment. While small, it’s really got some weight to the base, and feels sturdy and stable. While i don’t know if it does, it FEELS like it has bearings in it, the rotation is smooth and even with no friction, grinding or squeaking.Best Feature – if you’ve worked in ceramic studios, you’ll know that the set-screws fall out of banding wheels, and then the head pops off the base when you go to pick it up, usually letting the base clatter along the ground. This model has a great design with the retaining set-screw placed on the base, i think it will perform better over time. The bottom also has a rubber foot, so you don’t have to worry about scratching or sliding on your work surface, or about having it set on damp or wet surfaces.Great Banding Wheel for the price.

Great turntable
Very heavy duty. Works great. I don’t do pottery, but it moves very smoothly for me. I work with lightweight stuff. I would buy it again.

Good value for the money
I use this turntable when Iâm hand building ceramics from clay. It is sturdy and holds a lot of weight, so thatâs good. It spins easily and smoothly. It does not have the heavy-duty bearings that make a Shimpo banding wheel so good for ceramic work, but for what Iâm doing, itâs a good value for the money.

Solid and Stable
Nice turntable. Should last longer than I will. Simple design, metal, heavy… Works great. Would actually like a bigger one, too. I got a cake carrier that I can put on top of it to give me more room for sculpting slightly larger pieces. Then I can put a damp cloth and the cover on to keep the clay from drying out. Doesn’t try to tip over – nice.

Purchased as gift for son who does a lot of spray painting. He was very happy with it.
