Very comfortable for little kids!
This has been a fantastic fit for my 3 year old daughter, my 5 year old son, and any of their friends that come over to ride in the same age range. It’s extremely easy to adjust, and offers great protection without limiting vision or adding too much bulk. It’s lightweight and cool – which is perfect since we live in the humid South. Very functional school helmet for playing around with horses!

Great helmet. Vivid color. Great material. Took off one star due to the small plastic visor that is a bit flimsy and pops off. It wasnât locked in during shipping so it scratched the helmet a little.

Good Fit and Quality – Repeat Customer
This is the second Ovation XS I’ve ordered for my kiddos. My 4 year old daughter was just starting to get too big for her Casco XS, and this helmet was the perfect size for her on it’s smallest setting. I’ve used a few brands on the little kiddos as a riding instructor and my two favorites are the Casco Nori and the Ovation XS/S. (If the Ovation XS/S helmet is too big, then I believe the Casco Nori XS or XXS are your only options–look in the European market and expect to pay over $100 for a Nori.**) Troxels are often less expensive, but don’t fit well in my opinion. If your kiddo has an unusual shape head (as some of my special needs riders do), then consider paying the extra for the Casco. Don’t bother with brands that don’t have the “dial” fit in the back as they are obnoxious to fit.It’s worth a few extra $$ to make sure it fits safely!**I see Ovation now makes an XXS/XS “Toddler” helmet.
