Great Pads for Abscess Treatment or Laminitic Horses
Red – firmBlack – mediumGreen – softThese pads are very large, so no need to worry if they will be big enough. You could easily use these for draft breeds if needed. We cut them to fit inside our horse’s EasyCare boots by using one of the old insoles as a guide. We ordered both the 6 mm and 12 mm thicknesses to use at different times. Even though all the photos are of red insoles, you will get the color described.The foam is durable and held up well. We changed them out after several weeks per instructions from our vet. They mold to the shape of the bottom of the hoof which can create pressure points for tender soles. This can be relieved by swapping the left pad for the right and vice versa or using fresh new pads. These are more affordable than the pads offered on the EasyCare website when you factor in the free shipping by ordering from this seller. Our horse is recovering from laminitis after colic surgery and we had to change pads frequently during this time, so affordability was very important.

Great pad for ANY hoof boot!
Love these pads! I actually use them in the Scoot Boot TheraRides instead of the pad they come with, because these conform more to my gelding’s hooves and make the boots stay on in virtually all conditions. I can cut 4 pads out of the material that comes in one pack.

Sent wrong size!
Sent me the wrong size. I ordered 12mm soft a week or so ago, and they were too thick. Ordered a 6mm soft- and what arrived? 12mm soft with a sticker labeled 6mm. These pads are definitely incorrectly labeled.

Comfortable, cushiony pad for hoof rehab
I use these pads as inserts in my hoof boots. I recently pulled my mare’s shoes; hooves are very sensitive, no sole. She is in boots for turnout and riding and these are comfortable and cushiony. I am able to cut two cushions from each pad (2 pads to an order, thus I get 4 pads). Each order lasts about one month. I use the 12 mm green pads. I give it 4 stars. It serves my purpose well but they do not last more than a couple of weeks.

Great deal
These are great! A little work to cut them, but can get sizes from foal to draft out of these. I can get 2 pads for my horse out of each one, so makes it even more economical.
