Unlike the harness straps with lights, your batteries could die and leave you with minimal protection. With this vest you don’t have a light, but you do have a much larger amount of high visibility material that never needs batteries. I’ve also heard the harness type vests are hard to put on. This one is easy and fit over a coat easily since the side is pretty much entirely open. The material is also stronger than some wimpy mesh material that will rip easily.And if all that’s not enough for you…. it comes with 2 arm/ankle straps. What more could you possibly want at this price????

not quite the quality i expected, but it is usable and was very inexpensive. the fit is somewhat odd, because of the cut of the garment and the material.
