I was able to fill 4 trays with one block. My plant growth was faster by 1.5 days on vegetables, which I already have a handle on, in terms of germination.

Doesnt Absorb Water
Just get Eco Earth, this stuff does not absorb at all, had 1 brick in 4QT boiling hot water for 2.5hrs and it was completely saturated and swimming in water the whole time, expanded to *maybe* 3QTs of overhydrated substrate, wouldnt use again.

This coco coir brick is just what I needed for my plants. Itâs 100% organic and has a nice, neutral pH that keeps my plants healthy and happy. The texture is soft yet holds moisture well, helping with both plant growth and root development. It was easy to prepareâjust add water, and it fluffs right up. Iâve used it for vegetables in my garden, and they seem to be thriving. It also works perfectly as reptile bedding, staying clean and comfortable for a long time. I love that itâs a natural, sustainable option instead of traditional soil. The brick is compact for storage, but it makes a good amount once expanded.
