Works but isn’t perfect
This item does work at picking up loose dog hair on my 65-pound Catahoula Leopard dog. It grabs hold of the loose hair and seems to remove it okay. The stitching of the item seems to be durable and should last many years.It is very easy to use and will pick up the hair. I just don’t think this is meant for large dogs. If you had a smaller dog, then this would probably work perfectly. Being a flexible glove, you can move around the body much better than a brush.I removed two stars for the following reasons.1) The back pocket to hold this hair remover is stitched down the center. I have a rather large hand, so I have to put 3 fingers in one side and my index and thumb in the other side. It feels weird on my hand like this. If it were an open pocket, I think it would work the same without feeling weird. If you don’t have large hands, you may not even notice an issue. I’m really not sure what the purpose of that was.2) It isn’t very easy to remove the hair. I tried to let a good bit build up to see if I could just peel it off. Once it got to a certain amount of hair, it would just stop grabbing onto anything new. No matter how much hair was on this pad, I couldn’t remove it by peeling it off. I had to rub the entire pad back and forth till I finally removed most of the hair. A little bit always wanted to remain behind. This left my fingers smelling like a dog. The brush I normally use, I can just peel all the hair off in one sheet, and it leaves my fingers clean.I don’t think I will be using this item personally and will likely give it to my daughter, who has a small lap dog. I don’t remember the breed, but it’s around 10 pounds. I think it would work much better for a smaller dog.

It works for cat hair, but itâs hard to remove the hair from the gloveâ¦
This product does remove excess hair from our cat but it has a couple of issues:1. Once the hair is on the âgloveâ, it doesnât come off the glove very easily. It seems to stick more than we had anticipated. That was frustrating.2. Itâs sized for a smaller hand. It fits my wifeâs hands but itâs a tad too small for my larger hands. Just the way it is designed at the back.The concept is good and it definitely works, but itâs not as easy to clean nor utilize effectively.Recommended with the two caveats noted aboveâ¦
