Nice dark color
Itâs a darker plant not like most plastic plants so it has a nice appearance. But seems to attract floating debris and my tank is very clean I would say with over filtration in my cichlid tank.

I love these, but do not get if you have a bigger bottom feeder. He shredded mine so bad that I had pieces all over the tank.

Being an aquarist for over a decade, I usually love to keep live plants in my aquariums. However, there are certain species of fish in which you just cannot keep live plants with them. They’re sometimes destructive or otherwise make meals out of them at any opportunity. I do my best to try to find artificial plants and decorations that appear as realistic and similar to the live plants as possible, but it seems like all the manufacturers of artificial aquariums plants really profit off that artificial look. These are the tae exception to that rule.â QUANTITY: the first benefit of these is the quantity that you get in a single order. for the price point, i really appreciate that you get a total of four plants and they’re not the small, rinky-dinky kind either. even though these were advertised as being 13″ inches tall, these actually are exactly 12″ inches. but that’s kind of nit-picking. i just enjoy the tall height of the plants.â QUALITY: these are definitely different than the other popular artificial plants on the market due to the simple fact that a very small percentage of these plants is plastic. the base could be plastic, or resin, as im not exactly sure, including the center stems, but mainly the leaves/needles of the plantsâ they’re actually cloth, or string like material that allows for the very soft texture and allows the movement in the water. this movement is what makes them appear, less artificial as opposed to the fully plastic (especially artificially colored), fake aquarium plants and decorations. the needles of the plants are attached to bgg he center “stem” very securely, cannot be pulled out, and also, do not shed or drop. they feel and look really well made.â REFRESHING AESTHETIC DIFFERENT THAN FULL PLASTIC: as already mentioned, i liked these even more once they actually went in my tanks and sat for some minutes and began really absorbing the water and started moving with the flow. these look so much better and far more realistic than those highly popular and man manufactured, fully plastic plants that often collect algae, get brittle and discolored over time, and eventually fall apart or break off pieces. these are a very refreshing change from those stiff plastic plants.OVERALL RATING: âââââ FIVE STARS âââââââââââââââââ¡ããã IN SUMMARY: being honest, i was very skeptical when ordering these. at first look upon the product page’s pictures, they appear so simple, minimalistic, and quite basic. but the real “magic” happens after wetting them and submerging them into the water. they look fantastic in my tanks, and the green color is beautiful and vibrant without looking fake and artificial. the little needles move and sway with the movement of the water and are soft to the touch, so i dont stress about any of my fish that have scale less bodies or more sensitive bodies, rubbing against them or brushing by them. the more i look at them, the more i like them. i do wish the base was slightly heavier and a little wider so it was easier to bury under the gravel/substrate, but they still stay down fairly well. i genuinely hope this brand comes out with more styles and different but similar textures of aquarium plants and decor, because i would definitely purchase again. i very highly recommend these, if you’re having to go artificial, but still prefer the somewhat natural look. â¡

My goldfish was injured by a plastic aquarium plant. I was looking for something article, but soft. These are working out perfectly. The bottom base is weighted so the don’t float or require anchoring. The grass is soft and threadlike. It moves naturally with the current in the tank. Pleased with size, appearance, and quality.

I was looking for some soft aquarium decorations as my fish seem to scratch themselves on my current plastic ones.1st thing you should do is rinse them, and then put them in the aquarium, obviously. The size ay 8″ is exactly correct, so it was a fit for my smaller 20 gallon tank, but not my larger 55 gallon one.The water movement does make it move more naturally than my plastic ones do, and it’s certainly softer. Time will tell the effects of algae on it (I keep my tanks cleanish), but I’m not expecting any issues.Value for your money is medium as it’s rather expensive for 2 ornaments, but the quality materials used contribute to that.I hope my review helps with your purchase decision.

The M2cbridge Plastic Fish Tank Plants have a heavy base but the plant material feel very soft and no durable. It look to be made of fabric which gives a nice effect but won’t be durable in the water for long. The heavy base keeps the plants in place and the baric leaves are attached to the base well.
