The bucket can be used to fill with soapy water to wash the car, or lugging water to water the garden. the kids love it at the beach to play in the sand. if at the park, fill it with water for the dog.

Awesome bucket – collapsible yet sturdy
I was looking for something other than a hard plastic 5 gal bucket to take rockhounding. I love that I can collapse this bucket and strap it to my backpack as I hike to my destination. I’m surprised at how sturdy this bucket is, but given that it states it can hold 2 gallons of water, I figured it could carry up to 16 lbs of rocks too by weight. So far, it’s holding up well from my outing this past weekend. The green side walls seem to be made of a heavy rubber or neoprene while the gray portion of the side walls are hard plastic. There is also a little eyelet on the side that is perfect for a carabiner.This would be great for a mop or car wash bucket at home if you want to save space, or a bucket to take to the beach with the kiddos. I think the price is a tad high for a bucket since you can get a 5 gal bucket at Harbor Freight for $5, hence only 4 stars. But it’s nice that this saves space, so can see why the price premium is there. I think it’s a buy if there is a coupon or sale price for a few bucks off.

Versatile bucket if you need a compact solution
This GOLDFOX collapsible bucket has a lot of potential uses, and for the most part, has a well-thought-out design.The bucket comes all assembled and collapsed down in shipping. You just need to pop out the bottom of it to create the 3D space to fill it up. Practically speaking, you can comfortably fill it up with 2 gallons and use it. The handle is plastic, but with 2 gallons of water inside, you can carry it and it holds up. One side of the top part of the lid has a pour spout that works fairly well. The opposite side of that top part has a tab with a small hole in it for hanging. I do wish the hole in the tab was slightly bigger to fit a variety of hooks, but you can always hang it by the handle if needed.I like the versatility of the bucket, because you can opt to only pop out one or two segments if you want. I find popping out one segment makes it useful for tight plumping spaces where you are disconnecting a hose that’s near the floor, or trying to drain out a front-loading washing machine filter.The only minor downside is that I don’t know how long the blue collapsible side walls will hold up. After using the bucket a couple times, it seems fine and fairly durable. But if you pop it open and close all the time, or put caustic chemicals in there, you might find that it will wear down and eventually fail, unlike a standard 2.5 gallon plastic bucket that will outlast a tortoise’s lifespan. That’s the price you pay for convenience and easy-to-store solutions.Overall, if you would like a collapsible bucket to save on space, or to use in a variety of tricky plumbing situations, this one is a solid choice.
