easy to install; sturdy
took a bit to the get the cats interested. we have a crazy climber but he (of course) was turning his nose at this until we made a treats path a bunch of days in a row. Now, he climbs on it, naps on it, plays games on it (we hook different toy lures to the different straps so they hang off), and it’s super study throughout! It was very quick and easy to install, with clear directions (you have to stick some rubber stopper on one side or the other of the metal door top pieces, depending on which side of the door you plan to hang it on – the way the door opens or the other way – so you can’t really move it to a door where it will be on the other side, since you’ve permanently stuck the rubber stoppers in place.) But it took all of five minutes to install and was easy to do by myself. also, we have no issue opening and walking through the door when it’s installed, so I guess it depends on both your space and your tolerance for tight spaces.

Great option for small space!
I did not know what to expect, but I really love this hanging cat tree!! My cat loves it and itâs a great way to give her some extra room to climb and lounge.The set up was super simple, there are brackets that go over the top and bottom of the door, and it hangs from the top and you can attach it to the bottom and tighten it. It does move a little bit, but my cat does not mind at all. She loves napping at the top and will climb up and down to play.This does take up about half the width of a doorframe, so you canât put it on an open door and get into the room easily. But itâs great on a closet door that stays closed and takes up less space than a normal cat tree – it is also much taller than a normal cat tree you could find unless you got one that is very expensive. It does close up if you wanted to get it out of the way or only use it occasionally and you can wash the shelves.

Good solution for limited space
Good way to add variety to our purrbeast’s environment without losing floor space.Seems solid and well-constructed. Fine for our 3.5kg parlor panther, but not sure if it would hold up to a large/heavy cat.The mounting brackets work for a range of door thicknesses, but the included spacers aren’t enough for thinner doors (like a closet). At least not if you want a tight fit without flopping around. A snug fit makes it quieter and more stable. Hardware shops have thicker bumpers if needed.Had it set up in 5 minutes, including wedging in extra spacers. No tools. Clear instructions.The “floors” are easily repositioned to align the holes differently. Our furry acrobat prefers the holes in a row, to climb like a ladder instead of zig-zagging.Probably best to put it apart from other climbables if possible. That way your cat climbs it, instead of jumping laterally from a countertop, bookshelf, etc.

My cat loves it.
I bought this to try out as Iâm going to be purchasing a travel trailer and traveling full time for the next couple of years. My little Wednesday is very curious and active, so I need to have things that will fit the smaller space but are still engaging. She loves to climb and be up high, so a cat tree is a must. As this hangs over the door, I thought it would be perfect. She loves it. To add interest Iâve tied ribbons and toys to the sides for her to bat about or catch. Itâs had the added benefit of keeping her off the dresser and nightstand and playing with my things. It was expensive, and the price has gone up since I bought it, but similar products arenât priced much differently. This one is pretty well made and very easy to assemble. It attaches to both the top and bottom of the door for added support. It doesnât move much if you secure the straps well. She has no problem navigating it, though sheâs a bit longer than the average cat. She can also be a bit tough on toys. With this one she doesnât always climb up through the holes; sometimes she climbs up the outside, sort of hanging off as she does, but it doesnât buckle and stays in place. Overall a pretty good product.

Nice spot for your kitties
I had my doubts about this, but I was wrong, My one cat “Trudy” loves it. Initially it takes a little getting use to the nose it makes when she jumps to the second level and then goes directly to the 3rd level in swift move. She like to nap up there.

pretty easy to set up and adjust if needed pretty sturdy and stable, considering it is easily portable value for the money is pretty good The only downfall is the straps at the very top that form a triangle that gets in the way a little bit of the cat jumping if they are trying to enter the top from the side.

My cats love it!
Perfect for small spaces or rental houses! Insanely easy to install (took less than 5 min) and 2 out of 3 cats loved it immediately! Pretty sturdy, but slightly flimsy at the bottom (scared my kitten). Nice height, too. Iâm 5â4 and when my cat is on the top shelf, weâre at direct eye level. Definitely recommend if you want to keep your cats engaged & entertained all day!

Disappointed
The entire structure is far too flimsy for an average size cat to climb. Even with the brackets in place properly my cats didn’t trust the stability and avoid using it after attempting to climb on it. Also, the area for the cats to sleep on in the upper levels doesn’t allow any room to move. I have a medium sized cat and a large cat. The large cat definitely wouldn’t fit but even the medium sized cat had no room. At best, this is okay for kittens but not at all for adult cats. Truly a waste of my money.

Cats absolutely love this, had it nearly a year now and still in great condition. Washed a few times – I recommend washing on cold wash or it does shrink slightly. Would recommend, happy kitties 🙂

Die Leiter ist grundsätzlich ein tolles Produkt und meine Katzen haben sie sofort angenommen. Man merkt allerdings, dass sie vermutlich für den amerikanischen Markt konzipiert wurde, da die Türen dort meist anders gebaut sind. Bei uns sind die Türen enger im Rahmen und schlieÃen sehr bündig, sodass die mitgelieferten Türhaken leider viel zu dick waren. Dadurch lieà sich die Leiter nicht wie vorgesehen einhängen, ohne dass die Tür blockiert hätte.Ich musste mir daher separat passende Türhaken kaufen, die für unsere europäischen Türen geeignet sind. Damit hat es dann gut funktioniert. Unten konnte ich allerdings gar nichts anbringen, da meine Tür sehr nah am Boden abschlieÃtTrotz dieser Anpassungen hängt die Leiter stabil an der Tür, die Funktion ist gegeben, und meine Katzen nutzen sie sehr gerne. Wer das Produkt bestellt, sollte nur im Hinterkopf behalten, dass eventuell zusätzlich passende Haken benötigt werden.
