Ditch the generic floating basking dock.
Bigger than expected. Very sturdy hardy material. And strong suction cups. I thought I would only be able to put it in the corner of the tank but it can go anywhere. I have a 2 inch turtle and itâs more than enough space for basking.

An attractive and functional aquarium piece that we’ve really enjoyed having. It can even double as a small cave for shrimp to hide under if you don’t want to use it as a lifted platform. We have an 8-10 inch juvenile axolotl that we adopted from a rescue – he suffered leg trauma and it never fully regenerated correctly. We were in need of some platforms to create steps going close to the surface but we needed them to remain fully submerged in order for him to have a safe alternative to going up for air and thankfully this has worked perfectly!
