KanaPlex cured my fish of dropsy!
I had two gold barbs with severe dropsy. Their scales were pineconing. After three treatments with KanaPlex, they were back to normal size and they recovered completely. At the time of this review, it has been more than four weeks since the last dose of KanaPlex and they are back to normal, active swimmers and happy eaters. I tried Melafix and Tetra Lifeguard before the KanaPlex, with prayer. Melafix and Tetra Lifeguard didn’t get the fish better, but they didn’t get worse. Finding the KanaPlex after a lot of online research made the difference and I would start with it if it happens again. Water quality was testing OK when the fish were sick, maybe a little high in nitrates on one test strip and fine on another brand. I did water changes before adding Lifeguard and before adding KanaPlex. I never saw anything treat dropsy effectively before KanaPlex.

wonderful outcome with my betta!
i saw immediate results within 16 hours of his first dose!! i was amazed and relieved to see he was more active and the red spots on his tail were gone, 2 weeks since his 2nd dose and his tail is growing back, i never see him nipping at it anymore and hes looking healthier than ever and im very blessed hes not itchy and in pain anymore ð¥²â¤ï¸DO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AND CHANGE ACCORDINGLY TO WHAT U FEEL IS BESTwater changes are also recommended by the company!!

I am so happy that my favorite fish is healthy again. After this medicine, she started swimming and eating again. Medicine is safety and effectiveness. Color is white, She had dropsy.

Success with product
Not an expert but I think that this worked great. We tried many different items to help our koi who had a cotton fungal disease and then developed septicemia; all down the fishes side was white fungus, then soon after bright red with blood. We think she had an injury. We were super close to giving up hope. We used malachite green, primafix, melafix, Erythromycin, then Kanaplex was finally the thing which showed easily the most progress quickly. The skin/scales healed, a slime coat developed, redness reduced by half in one week. Definitely use a separate tank/tub with aeration as this stuff should only be used on the sick fish as needed. Be sure to measure the amounts needed accurately. We read that the mostly gram positive bacteria that Erythromycin attacks was not the best solution, so tried this mostly gram negative antibiotic kanamycin sulfate, which is supposedly easier for the fish to get benefits from as the medicine did not need to be swallowed using food etc. just popped it in the water. I think this saved our poor fishy. We will keep an eye on it but its looking very positive so far. I changed the water by 1/3rd every other day as the phosphate levels were getting high, so testing the water was important. Please don’t give up on the little fishies 🙂 Hope this helps.

Very good. When used as a medication as food. It is very good. My fish ate the recipe and enjoyed it. So look up the recipe and if you get any bacterial problems. Use it. You can also freeze the left overs
