It works extremely well
Well I really doubted how well these would work but they work extremely well and I actually think the fabric is actually more comfortable than the leather of my hat. These are also much more reusable than they advertise. I’ve been using the same one that I first put on my hat over a month ago and it’s still stuck on well and wicks sweat the way it’s supposed to.

My daughter wore my cowboy hat and got it dirty and when she cleaned it she got that leather head liner wet on the inside.Of course it shrink and came apart so these came in handy to keep from sweating directly on my felt hat. Unfortunately the kid took the hat back I’m assuming it’s still on it. Good thing there are extras

Works ok, doesn’t stick well and leaves a residue.
These sweat liners are pretty comfortable, my hat is actually a bit too big but I waited weeks to get it from Australia so I wasn’t about to send it back, and since I got these my hat feels more snug on my head. The downside is they don’t adhere well, atleast to leather, and they leave a residue behind. Luckily the center seems to stay in place but the sides peel and if you move your hat alot it becomes slanted. Maybe these are meant for cloth and plastic cowboy hats cuz they dont stick well to my oiled leather hat. I’ll possibly be buying more unless I find a better option.

Good for more than sweat absorption
If you have a hat that just does not feel quite right on your head, maybe a cold stiff leather feeling from the sweatband or just does not seat on your head just like you like, this may be the solution for you. These are thin and stick pretty well. The unexpected benefit was that it allows my hat to seat better on my head. I have a nice $$ hat with a leather seeatband, but it feels like cold plastic on my head. Once I put one of these in I noticed the hat seated on my head comfortably and I no longer felt that cold plastic feeling of the hats sweatband. Kind of a hat saver because I was bummed about the way it felt against my head, which is now resolved.

Good but not buying again
Product works great easily applied but that’s where it stops. These things are harder to remove that thank rubber britches on Rosie O’Donnell in an orgy. It just feels and rips like it’s not wanting to come off of my hat.

I do like this product however when inspecting the box I realized the product was suggested to be changed after every use and that defeats the purpose of what I intended this purchase to be used for. The leather band in my Akubra had became old and stiff and brittle so I removed the front of it, which had become damaged as mentioned, and filled the open area with this product. I am concerned that if I continually remove these sticky pads, that it will damage my beautiful hat in the long term by ripping a layer of felt after every removal. I should have read the description better I guess but it is a good quality product and has done it’s advertised usage above and beyond expectations. It leaves squares on my forehead though ð I look like a waffle
