Great for Tanks
Great price and should fit practically any tank. Using it for my pothos plants and it’s keeping the leaves well above the water. Fits 7 each but if I needed more I’d buy this again.

I realize that there are detailed pictures of what this thing looks like inside and outside, but they are a bit buried. Still, I blame myself for not checking. Also, this and nearly identical planters are sold by numerous sellers on various platforms, all probably made in the same factory, and they all have somewhat mediocre reviews when you take out the fake ones. I bought this one because it was an okay price and it had more holes than most of them.My problem with it is that the planter tubes/holes are literally just tubes, with no bottom of any kind. Thus, anything that’s just a thin stick like “lucky bamboo” will just slip through them. The planters work fine for plants that flare out significantly above their crown, although if they flare too much they will interfere with each other since the tubes are so close together.I have a set of “lucky bamboo” that I wanted to plant on my tank rim. To make this planter work, I super-glued a thin stick across the middle of the bottom of all of the tubes. There is still plenty of room for the roots to grow around it and into the water, but the stick keeps the plant stalks from falling through.I also was able to plant some small strawberry plants into the tubes without bothering with the stick, staggered with one full and one empty, since they do flare out above the crown, but they may not all thrive with such close competition for light.edit:The stick fell off because the super glue does not stick well to this plastic, so instead, I drilled a small hole on either side of the bottom, and a notch across the bottoms of all the cylinders, and tied a piece of fishing line across the bottom. It is tied and doesn’t depend on glue adhering to the plastic, and interferes very little with the plant roots. It’s not as rigid as a stick, though.

Hanging planter is very small. I was unable to plant any of my plants in it.
The concept is fine, but I misjudged the size and couldn’t use it.

And like some of their larger canisters, these individual shoots plant holders can actually fit with the larger plastic rim that most aquariums come with. In other words, this works really well. I have used it with Lily as well as lucky bamboo and they stay into place by just keeping the roots underwater and the rest of the plant above. Very happy with this purchase.

This is exactly what I’ve been after. I love it and the fish already love hiding in the roots. I would give it 6stars if I could. Will definitely be buying many more!
