How often should I use Clean Start Shampoo?
Each dog is different. Generally, use weekly or monthly to deep-clean the coat. For dogs that love mud – use as needed. For exhibitors, use before and after shows to clarify the coat removing product buildup and leftover residues.
Do I need to dilute this shampoo?
We recommend applying this product straight to the coat for up to ten minutes for maximum cleaning results. It can also be diluted up to 4:1 – 4 parts water, to 1 part shampoo for a general maintenance bath.
Can this be used on cats?

Very good for Bichon adults and puppies
Very good shampoo to get very dirty Bichons clean. No skin issues and works on puppies and adults. Smell is nice and not overpowering. Especially since I follow up every few shampoos with whitening shampoo and a conditioner. Of course, I bought the big bottle! Iâll have to reorder soon, since Iâm almost out!

We just use this at home for a 70 lb lab mix. It really does a good job cleansing and getting all the skin oils out without drying out her coat and skin. It is very lightly scented.

Good smell and effective!
The smell is really good. My wife and I have a similar allergy problem where we both sensitive to some strong scent. We did not have a problem with this shampoo. We noticed that we used less of this shampoo compared with another brand and our dog looks much cleaner and smell really good. The formula is probably very concentrated. However, we did not see any side effect to our dog for after a week now. One thing we both observed is that our dog does not show much resistant. He stood still and let us finish the work. We do not know for sure whether he really likes it, but this is something we observed. This product deserves a 4 stars. I reserved the 5th star for something extra ordinary. If someone can come up with a breakthrough product that can save my time by half. I’ll give it 5 stars.

Squeaky Clean!
My Bernedoodle gets oil build up in between grooms. This has really been a game changer on removing excess buildup on his coat. *Dont Forget To Dilute With a 4:1 Ratio* It helps prevent waist for your big dogs, and when mixed with warm water is emulsify the natural oils in the product to get deep down into the undercoat.
