How to Assemble
Step 1
Fasten the four boards with screws as shown.

Cat Loved it Right Away
Our cat loves this scratcher. She took to it right away. We placed it beside the couch were she had previously been scratching at the fabric of the furniture. Now she often goes right to it sits at the base and scratches at the wall of green felt. It was very easy to put together. It is lightweight and easy to move from room to room if you want. It is also very sturdy, holding the cat just fine and holding together well even though tabs cut into the ends of the felt piece are the only thing holding it all together. We’ve had it a few months now and you can see from the image that the main area where she scratches has visible wear, but it is only on the surface. The felt pad is 3/8 of an inch thick, so she won’t be scratching through it anytime soon.

My cousin’s Maine coon cat loves it.It keeps him from scratching the sofa. It’s a great design. It looks good and there’s no mess like you get with cardboard scratchers. It’s a price too.

Way more assembly than expected

Pieces donât fit together without a hammer, but the cats like it
The sides are supposed to puzzle piece together and they do not, I ended up hammering B to C. It broke off the veneer in both places and damaged the tabs a little. Iâm lucky it didnât break off the whole tab on either B piece, but it got the job done. I turned the pieces around and tried them with either side piece thinking I had right and left mixed up or outside to inside mixed up. No. The cuts just arenât precise enough. My cats do genuinely enjoy scratching this, so I donât care that itâs a little damaged, but others should know what theyâre getting into.

One of my cats uses this and the other never even sniffed it ð. It is sturdy though and good quality. They both love a different product I bought for scratching.

My cats love this! It has lasted for 4 months. I just ordered another one latest night. It does seem to keep their nails shorter. But they destroy these and they do make a little mess of the cardboard. I always sprinkle a little catnip on the new boards and they are in their happy place.

No mess!
I bought one of these to deter my cat from scratching the couch and it absolutely worked but because it was cardboard it left a complete mess everywhere. This one is great cuz there’s no mess and I can’t believe it’s still in such great condition after my beast of a cat tries to kill it everyday lol definitely recommend! Super easy to put together, my cat loves it, and it’s not gaudy.
